Just go to TPY HDB Hub.. I forgot its on the 3rd or 4th floor. Ask ard.. and you can purchase the floor plan of any unit u want at $5 each.Its actually at Dr 16.. rinarobert 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2007 Hi rinarobert,Sorry for the late reply, just came back from cruise today. !! As for the floor screeding, it all depends on you. For me I only ask them to screed after I hack walls and confirm my design. Lucky I meet a nice officer from HDB who gives my hubby a lot of advice. So if you are hacking down any walls, I think its the best u hack the walls then screed the floor..thanks for the reply!!!that means even you plan to lay tiles later, you still can ask HDB to do screeding for you provided they agree to do so??? the benefit of screeding before tiling is to save some cost for sand and labour, am I right to say that? reno for me is something that really need effort to understand and learn !! rinarobert 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2007 Oh! If you wanna lay tiles, then cant screed liao. Only screed when you wanna do laminate flooring or timber flooring. Cos for tiles, they need a rough surface to stick on. For laminate or timber flooring, need to screed as we just lay it on the floor. Therefore need a leveled surface. Nice to have a neighbour around~ Anyway you bought it from the WIS Sector A October?hi! yaya..i bought it during the WIS...i did view a unit in ur blk as well...but i prefer the garden at 585.. Mine is so tiny weeny!!I don't trust HDB contractors now, after getting keys in October, my flooring is still not completed till now! Everything was delayed and i had no choice but to just proceed.Having my AD in January, and really want to live in the new house by then.HOpe your reno will be smooth!! As you see in my blog, currently only the structures are up.Today as ID if she has fabricated the cabinets, she say no.We told her must be ready by 4th Jan. LOL.
