Epoxy Painting

Recommended Posts

Hi good people,

I got my new standard flat at clementi. It comes with toilet tiles. But the looks of the toilet tiles not so encouraging. Initially i intend to hack or overlaying it. But i saw many forumers mention the negative sides of it and the price abit steep.

Then i saw a good forumers(i think is raincole) mention about Epoxy Painting and apply it on toilet tiles. I get excited about this idea. I got a few questions and hope u experienced good people can answer me.....

1.) how much it cost to spray expoxy painting on one toilet floor(mine is the standard hdb toilet)?

2.) It is durable, whats the good and bad of it? will it wear off very fast?

3.) Can epoxy painting be applied on toilet wall as well?

Thank you so much

I did expoxy spray paint on my toilet wall and floor tiles and kitchen tiles too. Yes they can be done on wall tiles.

Pros: Cheaper than overlaying tiles or hacking and relaying new tiles. Can choose any colour you want.

Cons: Must be careful not to scrub the surface too hard as the paint might come off.

As for durability, it really depends on how you maintain your surfaces. As long you don't scrub it hard or drop sharp objects onto the floor, i presume it shd last you at least 2 years...

Costs depends on how big your area is...different companies charge differently...
