Where To Get Strings Curtains?

Hi everyone, can anyone advise on where to buy string curtains?

I had been to a shop in Plaza Singapura and was quoted $245 for a full length of 1.5M.

Sounds pretty expensive to me.

think there's a person in SGB selling 3m x 3m string curtains at around $90

or you can check out yahoo auctions too

I think depends on where the strings curtains are from. Was quoted $80 for about 3ft ~ 1m to ~$2xx for the same length. Cheaper one from China, cant wash and the expensive one is imported, can wash. So must see if which one, coz price diff quite alot.

i was quoted $120 for 1meter wide , include installation and track. Does any of your quote come with tracks ?

yup..heng my width is only 1m, if is 1.5m, i have to buy 2m string curtain.

WAH.. it seems to me I got a very expensive quote.

I did not ask much details on where the strings come from, except that I note that shop looked kind of classy. But I don't think the price includes installations or tracks. I remembering asking the sales person on how to hang up the curtains.

She gave me a rather 'ur so stupid look' and told me that I can either fix tracks or just stick them up the ceiling MYSELF. I guess that just means that I got to find my own tracks and install them myself bah.

Btw, I can't get tracks cause the place where I am going to hang my curtains is not in a straight line.

Any other suggestions on how to stick it up?

I got this String Curtain for just $39 ( so cheap )

I know some shops are selling it at ard $100+, maybe the quality is better,

But they feel & look the same !So what the heck ! Going to buy more for my MBR..

I got it at Tanjong katong complex in Geylang.

The shop is located at the 1st level, just beside Shop&Save.

Can get it at Joo Chiat as well , Ard 2 meter : $ 39

( Tracks & installation not included )

Can buy at Ikea

I got mine there, 3m long. So far so good, the quality's good as well

But quality is really bad, the strings are really thin , so it tends to get tangeled.

hmm....i remember seeing robinson selling spring curtain (cityhall branch) you may want to check it out

oic.. i nvr open the pack to try touching it coz my hm din install this type of curtain. not practical, wait kid everyday go pull 1 string, i will go bonkers !!
