Thankshttp://www.friendster.com/photos/21146536/1/418006331Hello bkktengNice family photos!Pls refer to my pinned post for instructions to get the degrees before i proceed further..Generally, the masterbed location is not very good for man of the house. the children's rooms are alright. You may want to put more plants at your main door.Just to confirm, you like to know the placement of furnitures or others?
bkkteng 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2007 (edited) Hi Mr Chong,Thanks for the prompt reply, I will try to get the mesaurement ASAP. Yes, i would like your advice on the furniture placing especially for the kitchen since its sharing same wall with MBR.When u say it's not good for the man of the hse, does it mean more on the financial or health aspects? Is it ok for the oven to be opposite the sink?Sorry, i posted in another section, to avoid double reply, can u ignore my post under the geomancy/fengshui column, will just use this to communicate You commented that I shd change my bed position so that the headrest is against the living room wall, does that mean i will be sleeping with my feet facing the window? I have also extended my master room, so which wall shd the headrest be against? Attached is the current bed position of the existing owner, shd i place my bed in that same manner?http://adchroma.multiply.com/photos/photo/5/13RegardsJane Edited October 10, 2007 by bkkteng

Maybe you can enlarge the pic layout of your kitchen and tell me your intended placements.I'm also puzzled from the photo against your layout plan. From the door entrance of the photo, the wall beside the bed is a wall with clock. While the layout has the walls with windows??Generally won't be good for the man of the house but can be easily remedied if you get your directions correct. Can be financial or both.Generally prefer not to have oven facing sink. However, this is not a conclusion as there are eceptional cases. The layout has to be studied. bkkteng 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2007 Hi Mr Chong,On the website with layout , under the pic, u can click on the size to enlarge the photo (highlighted in blue, 1000 x 727), basically, i hv an inverted L shape cabinet on the left side of the kitchen, the sink is at the shorter part of the L while the stove is at the longer part of the L . on the opposite recess wall, i have a tall cabinet which houses the oven and then beside it will be a fridge. If the oven shd not be opposite the sink, then maybe i shd change the position of the tall cabinet with the fridge, so that the fridge will face the sink and the oven will face the stove?http://adchroma.multiply.com/photos/photo/5/24As for the bedroom, the current entrance of the Mbr is through the kitchen, so the pic was taken from the dr, the current bed faces the windows, so they sleep with their feet facing windows . My current plan is to relocate the bed head rest against the same wall where the clock is hanging.I hope my explanation is clear enough as i am unable to scan in a bigger pic for u cos my scanner is in storage. Also, i intend to install ceiling fan in both the children's bedroom, is it bad fengshui? !! Please advise soonest cos reno in progress now. thanks

BTW,the facing of my dr is east 100, my balcony (where the most windows are) is facing North 20, the centre of my hse is facing same North 20. My MBR, window is facing southPlease advise soonest cos reno in progress now. thanks Edited November 1, 2007 by bkkteng
Mr Chong 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2007 HelloIf those directions you gave were accurate, then you don't need to put too many plants around your door. Arrange your dining to be near the centre of your house.Since you are relocating your MBR door, put up near the wardrobe you want to design. However, do not align it with the MBR toilet door.Put 3 plants each in both your toilet. Keep them open instead. If you want to change the headrest direction as per drawing, keep your windows close at all times.
bkkteng 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2007 Hi Mr Chong,I will reconfirm the directions ASAP, had a hard time cos i'm not sure how to read the compass.Which is the best position for bed placing? Is it better to place it facing the window? My new dr will be as per the drawing, is it ok? It's very tight for the dr to be placed near the wardrobes.I would like to install ceiling fan in the children's bedroom, is it ok?Thanks
