applefreak 1 Report post Posted December 11, 2007 so far i've not seen a sink carved out of granite in singapore yet the 'granite' sink we are talking about are actually composite sinksthe majority on the market comtains either 70% or 80% of graniteblanco is one of the better known brands for 80% granite, franke's fragranite is another oneblanco is available at hoe keeinstallation should be the same regardless of the material of the sinkfor your case the leakage should be due to poor workmanship in sealing the edges instead of the material of the sink

applefreak 1 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 hmm so far have not let curry sit in the sink for longunless you are referring to pouring curry into the sink and wash, that no problemmaybe if you pour curry and leave it for a week then
BlueFly 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2008 ....only thing is the water don't seem to flow very smoothly to the drainage....I am considering to buy the blancometra 9 too. When you mentioned the "water don't seem to flow smoothly to the drainage", are you saying you have to use your hand to "push" the remaining water to the drainage hole, otherwise the water don't drain out of the sink totally, leaving little puddles of water in the sink?Makes me want to rethink my purchase. Thanks in advance for yr feedback. applefreak 1 Report post Posted February 14, 2008 eh not really having puddling problemmaybe i've put it the wrong waywhen i wash bowls with remaining contents in itthe food stuff tend to stay in the sink rather than flowing to the drainage holegot to pour some water to 'push' the bits towards the drainagethink that's due to the flatness of the bottom, it's really really flat
