mint 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2007 (edited) I feel that the sides of my glass frame is very wide - and looks very ugly even tho' filled with silicon. The silicon is so thick that its about the size of my first finger. Feel that its unacceptable - cos its so ugly. The carpenter says its because the HDB walls is not straight, thats why the spacing becomes bigger and bigger from the top to the bottom. Arghh.. but I think its very ugly - but my hubby think its ok. Shall I make a frameless mirror then? Mirror can cut slant right, so my silicon will not be so thick. Silicon is meant to be a little only, sparingly applied at the joints.. but not if the spacing its too big. But carpenter say if cover with laminate will not be nice too, cos he must cut laminate and then I will see the joining of the laminates. Oh dear! See pics - where I mark the 'place' where the silicon is. Lucky my laminate is white. If its brown, how?? Edited October 5, 2007 by mint
