Considering a Better Setup for My Off-Road Adventures

Recommended Posts

I've been hitting the trails pretty hard with my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel, and the stock setup is starting to show its limits. A buddy of mine mentioned that a Cat & DPF delete pipe could really open up the engine's potential, especially for those long off-road trips where I need that extra power and efficiency. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best options for a 2014-2018 model. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Sounds like you’ve been pushing your EcoDiesel to its limits! I had a similar situation with my 2015 Grand Cherokee after a few grueling trips through the Rockies. The stock setup was fine at first, but once I started really getting into more challenging terrain, it became clear that the engine needed more breathing room. I ended up going with a Cat & DPF delete pipe for the extra power and efficiency, and it made a noticeable difference. If you’re considering the upgrade, check out Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel 3.0L - Cat & DPF Delete Pipe (2014-2018) from the DPF Delete Shop. It might be just what you need for those long hauls.
