Haulage And Debris Removal Fee

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I need your help to confirm this. Most of the quotation quoted the haulage fee from SGD 350-500 for my 3-room resale flat. Hwr, there's one man in City Design at IMM told me that actually this is done by the Town Council or HDB branch and this is very cheap. This is for resale flat only.

Have any one heard about this?

Thanks,

From what i know, Town Council no longer provide haulage service from May 07 onwards. Thus I had no choice but to let my contractor earn this money. FYI, I paid $900 in total for haulage+sand+hacking the tiles.

I read from other forum abt Cost of clearing of debris and haulage

The standard cost for clearing of debris and haulage is always at the cost of $215 inclusive of GST. Do not be surprised when contractor quote you more than $500 and do not get convinced by them when they told you the reason why it is so expensive. Some contractor will tends to tell you that they have rented a lorry to collect debris, this is not true. The lorry is provided by HDB who will do the clearing up. The contractor only needs to pay them $215 and everything will be done properly. Reason: HDB pay outsiders to do the clearing and this is liaise with the contractor and the HDB third party, when only a single receipt will be given.

this is true, my ID is honest to tell us that. He ask me to cater in a sum to pay to them direct.

For the hailage and debris clearing fee, my contractor charge me $750 for my new 5 room flat. After i saw what u guys say, i get very angry with my contractor. Thinking of charging to a more honest one. Anyone got a honest contractor to intro?
