Advice On My Kitchen Quotation

I just bought a new (actually 7 year old) Executive HDB in SK.

I got one quotation from ID, but have some doubt on my kitchen.

Actually it is my first time to do the innovation and I don't have much exp.

But I thought it might be a bit expensive...

here comes the detailed list:

Supply homogenous tile for kitchen/service balcony flooring ( psf $2.50 ) $425.00

Supply labour & cement to lay non-slip homogenous tile for kitchen/service balcony flooring $580.00

Application of water proofing $150.00

Construct kitchen cabinet base complete with matching side tiling $180.00

Construct washing machine base complete with matching tiling $80.00

Construct fridge base complete with matching tiling $80.00

Supply labour to run wiring & install cooker hob/hood FOC

Supply labour & materials to run washing machine inlet/outlet FOC

Supply labour & materials to run new sink inlet/outlet pipe FOC

Design custom made kitchen cabinet in laminated finish c/w ABS trimming $3,040.00

solid ply doors ( 1 year warranty ) ( Approx:32ft )

Supply stainless steel dishrack for kitchen cabinet FOC

Supply frosted glass door for kitchen cabinet FOC

Supply designer's handles & hinges for kitchen cabinet FOC

Supply & install 'bellus' brand solid surface top c/w 3"profile & backsplashc ( Approx:17ft ) $1,190.00

Supply & install 10mm casement tempered glass door for kitchen entrance $380.00

I need to purchase Cooker & hood,Sink and sink tap for my own, means another 1k around.

Then my total Kitchen will spend 7k...

Is it ordinary?

my kitchen is 4500mm*2250mm

since you are doing such a long kitchen cabinet and retiling(?) the quote looks alright to me

i didn't do retiling and my kitchen cabinet only 15ft total

since we will only do the floor tile for kitchen

What are the dimensions of the tiles?

Normal tiles or non-slip homogenous tiles?

And what are the range u can select from?

Please tell them to write clearly, as in point 2 it state non-slip homogenous. BUT in point 1 didnt state anything.

Application of water proofing $150.00

What grade of water proofing they are giving?

Construct kitchen cabinet base complete with matching side tiling $180.00

Construct washing machine base complete with matching tiling $80.00

Construct fridge base complete with matching tiling $80.00

Dude, for washer and fridge base dont do first. Find the model that you want and then give the actual dimensions to ur ID/Contractor to do the base. If they do it first then u will be restricted on the washer and fridge u want to get. !!

For you inlet/outlet of washer and sink are in hot/cold or cold ONLY?

As in this quote didnt state on wherethe u are getting storage heater or?

What is the brand of laminated to choose from?

This goes to ABS trimming too.

Whats the internal color of cabinet? White/color polygen or?

Your hob and hood need to know what brand and model you are getting. As dimension will need to give to your ID/contractor.

Base on your mesasurements... you have a top and bottom cabinet with a ladder at the side...

Pricing seems alright to me... but i think it shouldn't be this amount

maybe you prepare say another extra 1 k as frm your quote, i think should have additional items not included.
