So far, among the 3 IDs that i am comparing, Stiles is offering the best package but i am afraid that we might over-look some hidden costs and didn't factor it.

i had got a quotation frm Meng b4. i find dat e person i spoke 2, understand my needs & requirements. Sticked closely 2 wat i wan & gave a proposal dat is innovative & pratical. Somemore, it works out 2b below my budget.

neh... just got my keys this month.. not really in a rush to get ID..

did you eventually engage Meng (it is Meng Design and Build, right?) for your reno? heard from a colleague that his sis had engaged them and were very satisfied with the workmanship. i intend to suss them out but after 3 months of ID-searching, a bit tired liao... maybe start after CNY la ..

by popular request, i'v type e quotation out.

Its kinda preliminary & its dated back to 5mths ago.

Mine is a new 4rm standard flat, cums with kit floor & wall tiles, bathroom floor & wall tiles, concealed wiring & piping.

Not in e quote:

- inlet & outlet pipings.

- lighting pts.

- installation of accessaries/fittings if any.

Item 10 - becos of e slightly odd bedroom shape,

- to make e 2 bedrooms more equal in size;

- master bedroom shift door position;

- gota hack e affected walls & make good;

- install 3 new door frame;

- use back e existing veneer door.

For your reference:

All works are quoted inclusive of labour, materials & equipment necessary for an acceptable finish.

MASONRY WORKS / WET WORKS

To supply labour & materials to construct & lay the followings:

Hi,

For me, i don't realli like Meng (Tampines branch).....

They are so called the branded good such as LV in renovation industries as mentioned by the ID there...The attitude is not tat good coz we need a rough quote. They asked whether have we get the key and when we reply no....ha ha..they say that then it is better to come another day...

ANyway, it is up to one to decide.....hee hee

Tried Meng, and thoroughly regretted. Maybe there are others in the company who can do better.
