Hi h4happy,

LWT previously quoted me, al i can say is they did nt reali provide much design...mainly just drew wat we wan. Therefore i think they r more like a contractor. Didnt sign with them, alittle insecure with the after sales service. We r attended by Andy, kinda nice chap bt den slightly shaky. Who's ur sales?

I never go there, that is why I ask around here...the response seem not too good.

seen this guy called albert from lwt before. okie chap & workmanship was okie too. but they not very keen on taking on our biz... dunno why.

LWT is mainly doing renovation for resale flat. If u are getting a renovation for new flat, then he might not be so keen.

I have talked to Mr K. from Clementi branch who seems to be a nice guy and frankly told me that they seldom do new flat renovation. But he did spend some time talking to me and taught me a few renovation tips. Price is quite friendly and design is so so lah. But I dun go for good design because i am doing the design myself.

I will keep you guys/gals update after I bring my hubby down for a review on the material and firm quotation.

l recently got a quote from LWT and its almost 4-5k lower than most other IDs.

Can l check whether anyone used them before & why they can afford such low prices?

I'm also looking for renovator and contacted Mr Ken at Clementi branch. He is recommended by my agent. He's quite a nice guy, spend time talking and listening to us. Their quotation is quite ok but the materials that they quote is cheaper than others IDs (tiled, laminate, etc). That's why. I think it's most important to find out which material is quoted. But it's up to your budget, sometime we don't want to pay to much for expensive material.

Yeah, alot depends on ones budget....

And it is like gambling.....if worksmanship is excellent, then you hit jackpot!

If otherwise, then you hit zero...

That is the headache mos of us facing...

Nothing is 100% good.

Signed a contract of $23K with LWT but was utterly disappointed with their service. No matter how you escalate your complaint, no one will also getback to you. I have no choice but to let them continue my renovation. Hoping they will finish their job by this mth end as promise.
