Hi all, My renovated home was recently handed over to me. I noticed that my floor tiles in the common toilet looks very dark. Like there is some kind of stain or grout haze around it. Has anyone faced similar problems? I'm hesitant to use acid wash since the accessories have been installed. Thanks.

Dear All, I've move in to my new HDB flat for 1 yr and recently I found out that there was water stain marks appearing on the external toilet walls. The toilet area is consider dry area as there is no source of water and no conceal water pipe. Anyone have similar encounters? Appreciate you can share with me how to solve the problem.Lots of thanks.

Hi Forumers, My common toilet renovation has been completed. The tiles in the shower area look stained and no matter how much I scrub, I can't remove the stain. I don't know if its a grout haze or a grout stain that leeched into my tiles. All of my bathroom accessories are up and I really don't want to do an acid wash and create more damage. Has anyone faced the same problem before?. Also, I think my contractor threw some acid wash remnants down the dry area of the toilet. Some of the grout was out, which I made him touch up. But I don't know why my tiles look so dark and wierd

Hi fellows, I'm using Heveatech decking on my balcony, & it's varnished with a few coats of wood varnish. I do some gardening in my balcony & soiled (literally ) water splashes on the decking every now & then. It stains the decking such that using plain water & melamine sponge (that common white "magic" sponge) doesn't really remove the muddy stains. I don't think I can use thinner/turpentine because I presume those solvents are meant to strip paint. What may I use to clean varnished decking? Anybody care to share some experience?
