Hi, I recall last time I came across a post here that someone said their electrician charged only $10 per point for changing such light switches n power sockets. I've bought 20plus for the house and want to change like 6 as soon as possible. Does anyone have any reliable contacts for this? Actually, I can do myself I think..but may be very slow. And not sure also if I will do it correctly. So please intro to me if you have frm your recent reno. Much appreciated!

Need some minor works, including 1. Power points needed (3 of them for TV etc) at bottom of wall, circuit breaker is on the top side 2. Replace old broken sockets in the kitchen (3 of them) 3 Replace old water heater, install new one 4. Power point extension for additional water heater (3KW, 220V) How much would it cost? Does it makes sense to do it DIY, since hardware shops sell everything nowdays and very cheap. If reasonable offer, then I dont mind giving job to electricians too.

I did a quick search in this forum but nothing turned up. Bought a Panasonic Inverter 4 aircon over the weekend from Gain City, and the receipt says that we're supposed to provide a 15A power point for it. Now I have no problem with this, but when I went to get the details of the compressor and FCUs, I saw this: Running Current: 9.4A I have no electrical experience, but doesn't that mean that a regular 13A power point would be sufficient? I'm not sure whether there's already a 15A point there, in which case this is a moot point, but if not it would be nice to save a few bucks on this. Might also be useful for others in the future with this question. Some advice would be great
