Types of Doors There are many different types of doors available in the market, each with different aesthetics, property and price point. Each type of door is manufactured using different materials and techniques, thus have varying qualities such as fire rated or water resistance. The features, advantages and disadvantages are listed here to facilitate the selection process for business and home owners. Classic Doors A Classic door is a door made of plywood or Medium Density Fiberboard fixed over timber frame which is comparatively light. Classic doors are commonly provided within the interiors of the house as it looks pleasant while having a low price point, giving great value to the home owner.
