I have bought a 20 year old house and I'm not sure whether to rewire the whole house. I would like to change and add lighting and electrical points as well as cat 6 cables. If I rewire the house, do I need to change all drop ceilings and replaster all the walls? Also, the existing db box is 63amps 3 phase. Is this sufficient for a 2 1/2 storey house with 6 bedrooms? -
Thinking of getting new CO detectors for our home and would like to hear about the ones in market. We are having renovations by next month and we have plans to do some electric wiring changes as well. So there will be licensed electricians service available for few days, and I guess they can install the detectors properly. I gave thought on having CO detectors after reading about an incident happened to one of the family. They were saved because of the detectors they've installed in their home and I think after that only Ontario region have tightened the law of having detectors in each home.
