Hi everyone, We moved to our house last September after a renovation that took couple of months. In winter didnt see any bugs in the house except for 1-2 silverfish which I thought was coming from the yard. Last month I noticed tiny little white specks moving on the wall and they turned out to be booklice. They first started coming from behind our built in head frame and built in wardrobes where there were no baseboards. We had to dismantle our furniture and toss our bed frame and our whole dressing room. I catched a few of them crawling out under the parquet flooring. We had the exterminators come and they sprayed everywhere including baseboards door frames behind cupboards etc. It was fine for a couple of days but after 4-5 days we started to see them again all alive. Guess the ones hiding during the spraying dont get effected by the insecticides when they walk in it later. Later we noticed they were not only in our bedroom but every single wall in our 2 story house. Now we spend an hour a day searching the walls with flashlight and find about 10 a day in our whole house. It is a very rare pest in where we live so the pest control companies have no idea what to do or which insecticides to use. Because I couldnt find out what to use I just dusted along baseboards with Diatomaceous Earth but still there are alive bugs and now we started to see them in rooms we didnt see before. Our city is a dry one, in summer the humidity outside is %45 at most but inside its %60 which I believe enough for these bugs to live and reproduce. Our place is wide sunny and clean, no damp places and absolutely no mold or mildew. We open all windows for a few hours every single day. But I still cant seem to find a solution and stressing a lot. And now we started to have springtails coming in through windows and not to mention still seeing dead silverfish along the house. I already bought a dehumidifier but its just as strong to dehumidify one room at a time and people say when you run it in one room the bugs will just migrate to the next room where its still humid. So I didnt have the guts to run it. Moving out is not an option at least for now, since we paid a good amount for both the house and renovation and we absolutely love every single thing about it except for this bug issue. Plus Im afraid of carrying them to our new house among our stuff even though I didnt see them on furniture yet. But of course we will have to move out if its not resolved. Im absolutely very stressed about the whole situation and lost so much weight in this last month. No one here even the pest controllers know even the name of this bug so it makes me feel helpless. If anyone have any experience on booklice, know how to kill the nests under the parquet floor or anyone managed to get rid of them permanently please let me know bc Im desperate

Hi all Appreciate if anyone could advise on my current situation. I bought a 3-room resale flat that was vacant for at least 6 months. I noticed the presence of booklice along the kitchen grout about 2 months after completion of reno. They have now invaded the whole house. I see them mostly on the floor, and along skirting. Vacuuming, and 2 dehumidifiers do not seem to work. I cannot seem to locate the source, though I suspect it came from the main drainage area. I started noticing a few light yellow splodges on 1 of my hall's wall. Today, I used a masking tape over it. The paint came off, and there were black spots. I have a pest control coming in to mist the place tomorrow. My questions are: 1. I presume those black stuff beneath the pain are mold? 2. As the splodges are small in size and a handful currently, can I just scrub it off with a mold remover? Or are the splodges an indication of a bigger area of mold? 3. With the presence of mold, will the misting tomorrow be rendered useless? 4. Has anyone successfully eradicated a booklice infestation? They are making me very paranoid. Thanks!
