You can forget about those $9K...those will have a lot of hidden costs.....and it's similar to those that promises a lot of free gifts.. If you are not having a premium flat (and if you are not doing granite or marble flooring), a comfortable amount to be set aside for reno is about $20K to $40K, depending on what you want to do, type of materials, color of materials, and which ID you chose (branded ones are more exp definitely!). On top of that, if you are buying all furnitures and electrical appliances brand new, you have to set aside another $10K or more, depending on what you classify as a necessity, what you classify as lunxury, and the brand you chose. I agree it won't give a "wow" factor totally. My advice is for you to try to visualise the overall color combi of your funitures as well as the overall. 1 month to take note is while the brochure colors are lighter than the actual paint colors for other ICI paint series, their Light & space series is the other way round.

Hmm...I do not know who is monitoring @ our side, but I do know that my current place @ the other side of the road has a "data-centre" @ Blk 5 for all the recordings. Not too sure if our side also "linked" to this "data-centre".

I do not have this issue @ all. The only issue that I have is my common toilet WC got a "tissue-like" item which does not seemed to be able to be flushed away. However, all s*** and used toilet paper can be flushed away successfully. I also heard from my plumber the other time if s*** cannot be flushed away, it is not due to our pipe water pressure cos when we flush, it's the water in the tank that flushes all the s*** away and the pipe only refills the water in the tank. You can try adjusting the water saving feature to the highest position or top up the tank to full to see if can flush away the s*** successfully for a few occasion. If yes, then you got your problem solved. If no, then you can call the HDB people to come to take a look lor.... Hope this helps......
