  1. I encore what tommy78 commented. Look into the fine details like "use of 1/2 inch thick class '0' thermaflex insulation for indoor unit and class '1' black insulation for outdoor unit. PVC pipe use will be 16mm and G23 copper pipe", etc...
  2. Hey JIN, your house is AWESOME!!! Think you have done an amazing job. Love the wedding pics too. It looks so arty. Not the usual obiang kinda of wedding pics. Thumbs up.
  3. Hi Hi thank you for contributing back. More pics please...especially the after works. Cheers
  4. haha...it's worst then ID hunt. You can still undo the ID mistake by rectifying or changing in a few years time but wedding pictures...how many times can one take?
  5. Hi, unfortunately my friends are the one who told me not to go to theirs as their experience with them had not been pleasant. Seems like 8/10 of these BS are crooks. hahaha. The wedding pics are a little significant for me (in a way) as my mum and dad did not had theirs when they were married. So they swear that I must have something to remember lor. I am more keen on the outdoor shoots thou. Hi Ami, thanks for your reply. You mean there are wedding packages at $1K and below? And you need to top up soooooooooo much for additional? Faint sia. I am prepared to folk out 3.5K for the basic like studio/indoor/outdoor shoots and X amount of photos. The provision of gowns and make-up are essential of course. Will it be possible to share your pictures? Is it in your below mentioned blogs? Cheers and TIA.
  6. Hi, we have been procrastinating on the search for this and it seems like time is running short. Can someone recommend or appoint those that you have used and would recommend to others on this thread. I hate it with those who has alot of hidden cost or hard sell. Our priority is decent photography and make-up. Not the wayang kind please. Is our budget of $3.5K below realistic? TIA...
  7. We wanted to buy Ariston initially but seems like Joven has better reviews. So we will be getting Joven from Poh Choo. Was quoted at $225 for a 25L over the weekend and $35 for a 30L Ariston. My fiance and I got the CityGas bundled deal of Rinai Heater and CityGas Dryer not too long ago but had to give up the heater due to the limited space we have to place that Rinai heater. It has to be place in a open un-conceal area, preferrably near a window. Haiz...we gave up.
  8. Yes, I think you have done a pretty amazing job for the fire place. I totall agree that it is the highlight of your place. Thumbs up and ignore what you do not like to hear or read. There are many ppl who are insensitive to people's thought....
  9. hey thanks for sharing. ai....not bad leh. not as expensive as I thought...may ask them to quote too
  10. heyllo, can you give us the breakdown of your damage with Jimmy Textiles? TIA On a seperate note, saw your blog today. Are those your pictures on the top of the blog home? I read you have a page dedicated to Lo Hwei Yen too. Sad... I was part of her wedding planner team in Bali. Still feeling sad over the incident...especially for those she left behind too. Enough of it...we should not mention any sad matters in this forum. I am cheering up
  11. Hi, where can I get a copy or clearer copy to read? Cannot see leh...
  12. Hi ben+xue, I bought mine from El Bano Gallery located at geylang if I am not mistaken. Some of the other shops we visited also quoted us $280 - $380 price range. Was lucky we made a timely discovery on El Bano Gallery. You cannot see the pictures which I posted? Did you try clicking on the picture if it's too small? It will enlarge the picture. Anw, your place is looking awesome. I like the classic design of your kitchen. Do post more pics if available...
  13. Eh...not sure if your WC is Baron W303? I bought mine at $190 each (minus the basin) Please pardon my pictures. Both bathrooms are 60% completed only.
  14. Hi, did I see it right? Your 3 piece hansgrohe set is S$360??? Where and when you bought? My set olehdi close to 1k liao different model lah
  15. Yes, suggest you post a picture here for all to see so that we can attempt to 'play doctor' to your TV console.
  16. Hi, sorry I know my reply is a wee bit late but for the benefit of others who are keen to know about this light...it's from Lightology at Balestier. Not sure if I spell correctly. I could recognise the picture as those taken from my friend's place at Empress Road. Even your marble table concept is pretty much similar as his. Only difference is he modernise the marble table top with a different leg and Louis Ghost chairs. Awesome
  17. Like that ah...then IKEA's price for it's design is indeed reasonable liao lor.
  18. If it's a full see-thru toilet as the walls are being replaced by glass as you mentioned...I will vote for swing door. It looks better in my opinion.
  19. Hi, I have bought my lightings from 3 places so far. I totally understand about meeting rude and unpleasant shop keeper. Had my fair share of experience at Kelantan Street. However, my recent encounter with Hylite Decor at Blk 353 Jurong East St 31 #01-109 was such a 'walk in the park'. The lady boss makes my whole experience fun and non stressful. Thou not as huge as Chelsea but I certainly feel more welcome in Hylite then in Chelsea. My purchase from Hylite includes one kitchen light, two bathrooms lights, TV Feature light and also our 13 downlights. Overall price quite reasonable.
  20. Hi, you mentioned 'spent'...which means it's done liao. Knowing if it's a good deal or not, may be too late right? If you have not or for those who has not buy their lights yet, I will love to recommend Hylite Deco located at Blk 353 Jurong East St 31 #01-109 Singapore 600353. Telephone: 6560 3323. Next to Chelsea lightings. We bought our lights from a few lights shop but this shop is one of the most pleasant encounter we had so far. The lady boss Anthea was patience thru out and we find the price we paid for our kitchen, two bathrooms, TV Feature light and also our 13 downlights pretty reasonable. The other shops we bought our lights from are...hmm, don't expect good service or even a friendly expression.
  21. Try JB or Malaysia. Most of their big department stores would sell. Carrefour, Giant, Jusco, etc etc. You have the currency strength on your side.
