Hi Rico, in case you are still thinking of a slim washer (ONLY), I saw it today at a electronic shop in Katong Mall. It's on the low floor. You won't missed it. Pretty big one there and I think it cud be the 1st floor. Able to get one at less then 1K. Think I saw something like 800++.

I have heard some people who discourage this as they said it will not last or not permitted by HDB actually. Would love to hear some ideas and feedback. How else to conceal those ugly pipings??

Hi, yes I have seen some amazing slim washer but cannot really recall where. It could be either GainCity @ CCK or in Best Denki. However, be prepared. They are more expensive then the usual washer. All in thousands. I was drawn to it initially as I too have a small kitchen and would love to buy things that are 'slimmer'. But when I saw the price, I back off Oh, they are all topload. Din see any frontloads.

Yes, totally agree. Actually, my fiance and I did had a quote from Unimax. Unfortunately, the ID lady did not strike any chemistry with us. She's a little auntish and kept recommending us to get ceiling fans even thou we did specify that we do not want ceiling fans...like 5 times liao. She also kept pushing some kitchen work to us which is very massive when we already told her we hardly cook. Sigh...

So far Roy has the most hands up from the forum and also I have to admit...his price really attractive as compared to the others. So want to see his work lor. Any new pics to your place? Bet you must be very excited for it to be ready!!! I saw pics of your old place. Compared to this, wow major overhaul Congrats!
