  13. Hi henrywoo1978, hmm...I think mattress is one of the most important part of the furniture for a couple. I think I do not mind cutting out on other stuff to get a really good bed. As of today, we have more or less set our eyes on SERTA as it's one of the most comfortable bed we have 'laid' on. Even Simmons average range could not match up to that 'feel'...you know what I mean? And I must comment...the china sales lady at the Simmons IMM branch is pretty unpleasant. Well, she maintain poilte thru out the discussion and even encourage us to try the beds. But when we describe the feel of our 'needs' for the bed, she commented there's one in their showroom that sounds like that description. It was a $18,000 mattress. One of their premium product. But she went on to say if we do not intend to spend so much on mattress, then no need to 'try' that bed lor Duhnz!!! We did not even have that thought to begin with. So we felt that statement was really uncalled for.
  14. Suggest you look at the Terms & Conditions of your receipt. Is there a clause that says you are to receive the goods in good condition? You may have a case with CASE. Unless the discount is really significant...like 50% or more. Otherwise, I will not even consider.
  15. Hey, today's newspaper has a sales on SERTA's Perfect Sleeper. Its @ $2599...before less is $3799 wor. It's at their outlets in IMM, Marina Square, Centrepoint, Plaza Singapura and Takashimaya.
  16. Hi, sounds reasaonable. We are eyeing on their Skyline @ $2660 or Missouri $2480 also. All your inclusions are quite the same as us EXCEPT we do not want the bed frame and our size is a Queen. Btw, 2 sheeps? Thought they only give 1 per bed?
  17. Hey, great transformation indeed from country to modern black & white. Are you still within your intended budget of 10K? Btw, where does that big white door lead too actually? Curious...
  18. yew....................nooooooooooooooooooooo! U can't be serious about the pad thingy in Singapore It's like certain part of China I have visited...soiled ones on the street can be found easily. Yewwwwwwwwww!
  19. Hi, we saw the ad on the Simmons mattress over the weekend and decided to make a trip down. Only to be told that's it's sold out and the sales person offers us an alternative which is more then double the price. We felt quite mis-leaded in a way. It's like they use that ad to bait the customers down. Another point to note if we buy a so-call parallel import from USA is that their dimension is slightly different from the Asia size. Which means you will have limitation on bedsheets here in Singapore and probably an obligation to buy their bed frame which fits their mattress.
  20. For delivery, it depends on their schedule. Most weekends, evening delivery are full for at least 3-4 weeks ahead according to our experience.
  21. Apple TV will solve your problem for all this. They can play TV, movies, radio, MP3, etc. It's also one of my wish list but share fulfill that if we have that extra cash and time to coordinate this. On having music in the bathroom, there is a Legrand technology that can fulfill this. You may want to surf their web to find out more.
  22. That's exactly my point lor. So no losses if you cannot buy today. Buy tomolo lor....
  23. Hi, thanks for sharing. Jus in case u do not know...they have been having this 50% sales for the longest time. Bought a sofa bed last Nov and they also told me the same thing. Up till today, the whole shop still on this sales thingy wor...
