Hi Sforshor, Please PM me for the contact to get LED Downlight and LED Strips. Do you know if the LED strips have RGB kind? I would like to use for Cove Lighting. Also, do you know if the LED downlights are dimmable? I am trying to connect them to Fibaro zwave dimmers for home automation. Thanks bro!

Sorry for the confusion. I finally got the entire thing sorted out. The root cause of all the problems was because the guy at CCM sold me the 18W Ballasts instead of the 36W ones which was indicated on their invoice. I proceeded to install the 18W ballasts with my T5 28W tubes... which was why I had all these problems of the tubes going off after a while Had the ballasts replaced by the nice pple at CCM including 3 T5 tubes which kinda got burnt due to the 18W ballast. Now I'm happy to report the successful completion of the T8 magnetic ballast to T5 electronic ballast project I must say, the T5 tubes are much brighter than my previous 36W T8 warm whites... and at only 28W .. woohoo Thanks to Mace for all the help and advise rendered.

Thanks for the prompt reply. You've been a great help! Are there any polarity concerns for 1&2 and 3&4? Or it doesn't matter whether 1 matches to 4 on the other end of the tube and 2 matches to 3 ? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question

Yes. It auto switch off. I turned off the switch and after about 1 hour turned on and it worked!.. but after about half hour it auto switched off again Bought the ballasts from CCM. Will they entertain if I bring back to exchange? Bought seven from them. Any wiring diagram I can refer to to make sure I got the wiring correct?

Thanks for the tip Bro Mace! I took the plunge and tried to retrofit my magnetic ballasts to electronic ones. Managed to finish 3 out of the 7 tubes I set out to do (had to rush it while kids were asleep) Faced a problem with one of the tubes; it turns off after about 30 mins continuous use. Any ideas why this happens? Is it because of overheating? What can I do to rectify this?

T8 Magnetic Ballast to T5 Electronics Ballast Conversion Hi Mace, need your wise advice on T8 MB to T5 EB conversion for my home: I have 6 x 4ft T8 Tubes (Magnetic Ballast) and 1 x 3ft T8 Tube (Magnetic Ballast) which I want to convert to T5. Would you be able to advise what I would need to do the conversion on my own? Would the T5 tubes be able to fit the T8 fluorescent tube holders? Is there such thing as warm light for T5 tubes? I can purchase the Electronics ballast from Choo Chiang but where do I get the T5 tubes? Thanks in advance
