HAHA SO TRUE seriously if u owners wish to see more than just standard space planning go look for an id who really have too much time on hand, else pay for a design fee to see image board, perspective, 3d drawings etc. do u all know how **** busy we are just imagine we have to run sites in the morning, by the time reach office very late, then still have to draw new floorplans type new quote, detail drawing, site planning, meet clients choose materials, buy this buy that, speak to contractors, phones call come in and out and alot of other stuff for the past 2 weeks i been staying in office till the wee mornings u know how it can be ******* ****** is it when we still have to meet those irriating clients or cocky or typical or watever clients. u all need to know that if u are just doing carpentry work your cost of carpentry is around 80-90 percent of the quotation which u signed most companies would want to ensure that they do not lose money if the clients end up running away (yes we do encounter them) bankrupt (yes them do) or clients refuse to pay up at the end, because losing the last 10% will not affect the company income. very simple reason is when the carpentry is uploaded to your house the carpenters company will issue an invoice to the company asking for the payment already and why would the company pay the carpenters when they have not recieve the $ yet it is bound by the terms and conditions when the consumer party sign the contract the company have the right to small claim court you or pause any on going works and even fine u for delay payment RADAC is just for show to be honest most impt is HDB REG CONTRACTOR a company can have super brand, iso, radac, enterprise, trusted brand etc its useless when its not a HDB REG company so pretty much u are pretty screwed aka 0wn3d so good luck to you, start praying they dont run away

honestly, even if u owners know the cost price of the items does not matter to many ids out there u are paying for our services to make your life easier and the after service we dont really care if u know the cost for example false ceiling is $1.8-2.5psqft i can sell up to 8 dollars u all can go ahead compare prices, get 10 over quotation just dont cry when the contractor run away before work start, half way thru, 180 degrees turn in attitude and higher end compaines cost from the sub con will be higher than those low end compaines that just started thats my one cent for u all as an id the lesser work u do with me the more i mark up else waste so much time and earn so little

thats because his is purely carpentry only should be something like 20 upon confirm 30 upon site measurement or 3d drawings or perspective drawing 30 upon detail drawing colour choosing materials choosing 10 before carpentry up 10 upon completetion most companies policy should be before carpentry upload die die must collect 90% and when companies require u to pay so much upfront before any work done usually cause they are in the red zone. high chance they will run away

they are not call hidden cost its you want better materials so have to pay for it else how they quote u all cheap cheap to meet your budget just to let all owners know this info all tilers now in sg are malaysian and china ppl 1 group of tilers will serve a few companies in sg same for carpentry wise so basically you will get almost same standard of workmanship if u happen to choose the companies that are using the same carpenter company. But sometime depends on luck, why? Because the carpentry company will have 1 boss, few managers to go around take measurement speak to the ids incharge, then the workload will be randomly handed down to their diff team of workers at factory.
