Looks like I will be doing an out-of-state move unless something changes and wondered what experiences any have had with moving companies. I know many are not good but any experiences or recommendations are appreciated. This move may be too far to do as in the past on my own with help. Thanks in advance!

Epoxy Coating For Kitchen Floor Tiles.
canay10 replied to ppoii's topic in Ceiling, Walls and Flooring Works
I am moving into a new home with only screeting on garage floor. I would like to finish it off with an epoxy layer(s). The paint supplier says it is easy to do, first coat very thin, second after leaving to dry can be slightly thicker. I know floor must be cleaned properly before the time. Any other tips before you start? Acid cleaning to prepare the floor? If so what acid? Help will be appreciated garage flooring las *** -

Roof top pool
canay10 replied to peachpeach's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
If a residential project with a rooftop pool wants to pursue SSc5-Option 1, but how does the pool full of water impact the calculations? Is the pool sq.ft. excluded or does the pool materials still need to comply? -
I’m getting a slight leak whenever I have the water turned on over half of max in the kitchen sink. I traced the source of the leakage and it is highlighted in the picture attached. It looks like the knob where the water is leaking can be tightened/loosened. Any suggestions?

Solar Panels
canay10 replied to wuga98's topic in Landed & Condo Private Properties Renovation Discussion
I am considering a solar shed. My current shed needs updating and I am considering redoing the roof on one side to allow a proper slope to place solar panels on.I looked at the used solar panels Will suggested. They look good. However, when I contacted the supplier the "black" panel I was hoping for did not have the appearance I would like.I live in a neighborhood and while the shed is set back from the street, the panels would be visible. I like the black look since it would help it blend into the black shingles I will be using right here grants for solar panels for nonprofit. So far I am intrigued with 2 options. Opinions and suggestions as always are appreciated. I am still in the system planning phase. -
Any movers to recommend?
canay10 replied to koras's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
Hi! I am planning a move at the end of the month from one side of the block I live in to an apartment building on the other side. (So the travel would be the length of a city block) In the past i would always hire movers to help (a one bedroom move) This time i plan to get rid of my couch prior to moving to get a new one in the new space So my two questions - How to properly get rid of a couch? I don’t think it’d sell on Craigslist or even go “free” and it’s just me moving it. I am not sure if my current apartment would appreciate me putting it on the street for recology How would you suggest moving just a queen bed frame, a dresser and a peloton from a 3 floor walk up to another 3 floor walk up? Movers have a minimum of 4 hours and it’d probably take an hour and a half total with stuff and distance.
