Yoz! I checked liao. My worktop height is 87cm from floor to the top of the solid surface. It's at my tummy there. So far the height is fine for me. Maybe u can check with Yeak the suitable height for u? Think as long as it's around tummy level it's fine bah. Haha Wait my hb shy leh

Yeak gave me a quote within afew days. He's usually pretty fast on replying/amending quotes. I went to 4 contractors/IDs, shortlisted 2 and finally decided on Yeak. Know what u wan roughly for ur decor/design, so that u can discuss with them and they can give u specific advices/ideas. It'll make the discussion faster and allow u to gauge each contractor using the same baseline. Sounds interesting. So far I've only seen it being used for bi-fold or PD doors. It should look good. But there are some acrylic that are rather translucent. So if u change directly behind the doors, shadows can be seen outside.

Yay! Got pics to c! Hehe, ur place looks big. Tink after the reno, will sure look very nice. Love ur balcony tiles! Looks very cool. Try SBH. There's one big one opp IMM. Didn't see any hot pink tiles, but I think I saw some red and orange tiles there. But the tiles there are abit more x, cuz they're mostly from spain/italy. And u may need to take the same range of tiles to match, as the tiles are not exact size as what's stated. Meaning that if they state 30x60, most of the time it's 31.5x61.5. So if u match them with china tiles (whh are exact sized), the grout lines may not run smoothly. My kitchen and MBR toilet floor tiles also got bling bling. Yeak knows that those cannot use too harsh acid wash. So no worries on that. If it's not too rough then it's fine. Mine washes clean very easily.

Haha! Scarly next time will have pple going up to them and ask them if they are Yeak's tilers. Agree! Ur wall tiles really make ur kitchen look very long! think the main tiler's name is ah hui. But the rest also gd. I rem he did my foyer and kitchen only. But the rest of my tiles were laid very well too.
