WHAT a tired yesterday! Went out of house at 10.30am and was around the new house for the whole day until 7pm when my hb came from work. 11am was Poh Joo's delivery. 1pm was the discussion with the air con guys from All Best. The rest of the time running around taking pics (think I was trigger happy yesterday, took abt 100plus pics! ), and searching the neighbourhood for a 2-way tap. Signz, when we were buying stuff at Poh Joo, they didn't tell us that we will need to buy that for our toilets. When the person who came to fix our toilet stuff told me that he'll need that, I was like huh? what's that? After many explanations, I decided to brave the neighbourhood shops to search. Hey.. Not bad for a girl who know nuts ok.. hahah.. I did find them, and they looked quite nice I must say. I brought them back to the worker and he fixed them up immediately. Felt rather proud of myself and my contribution, when I saw it on the wall. The workers were VERY efficient yesterday. Lots of things were completed within a day. The L-box and false ceilings were done. The electrical works are almost completed. All tiling were finished on Monday. Thursday will start on painting, and my contractor told us that the lights can be delivered anytime liao. Yesterday was Day 16, and lots of stuff were completed. They're going to complete the electrical works today, and most prob start on tml! After that will be polishing of floor and fixing of lights. I'm sure there'll be lots of goodies at fantastic prices. Think ur headache won't be not being able to find good bargains, but rather which good bargain to choose!

Wah.. Ur WC+sink very good deal. Yupz, it'll be good if you can confirm the number of lighting points first, and what you intend to buy. That time when we went sourcing for lights, we didn't know, and it was rather hard to gauge if a particular shop is expensive or cheap. Now that we know the number of downlights, and other lights that we need to buy, we just choose what we like at the shop and ask they give us a total quote. Then we use that total quote to compare loh. So I would suggest for u to search for other stuff first. When your have confirmed the light points, then go search for lights. Save time this way. No worries lah, since ur plastering is a big job, they may need more than 1 day. So just start on plastering loh. Did ur contractor inform your neighbours about the reno already? Don't worry too much, I'm sure ur selections will turn out well. Speaking about selections, do try to ask ur contractor to lend ur the laminate books so that ur can have a few days to look through them and choose for your carpentry.

Some purchases at Poh Joo Black handspray set for all 3 toilets. Good thing about this handspray is that the lever can pull up and the water will keep flowing. So we don't need to keep pressing the lever. Simple & tiny sink for the tiny wash area Common toilet basin. The basin will sit on a vanity cupboard. That's all that I have for the weekend. I'll take lots of pics tomorrow of the deliveries and a/c pipe running.

I should be going to IMM to buy my bedframe sometime this week. I'll try to go to the Furniture Club there to see if got the sofa and will take a pic there. Do you unwrap the WC/basin/taps/etc to check on the spot when the deliveries come? Anything in particular I should check? My friends told me that I should check for cracks and scratches.
