Same here! My current place also use roman blinds for the bedrooms, but we didn't wash it for abt 4yrs liao. haha... Find it reali hard to fix back. That time when I went to search for WM, the sales pax told me that it's gd to get at least 8kg one to wash bedsheets etc. If not wait overload the WM, and it may spoil easily. Also that the clothes may not be very clean if it's overload. Duno if it's true anot though.

From 12ft down to 5.5ft? Then after u minus away the boards inside, it'll be like 5ft. Hee... I think u really need to steal some wardrobe space fr ur daughter or to donate lots to salvation army. Haha! Well, at least ur did not seal up the top chute then. If really hard to open even after the extension, ur can use the top chute to throw rubbish. Hee.. I think Yeak will still have to ask the workers to hack away the side tiles, then put cement and retile that extension. WM lifespan is around 5-8 yrs like that, so ur $30 will last u for a very long time.

Very nice of Yeak to agree to extend the base for u. Hope that after extending, there'll be more space for u to use the rubbish chute. By the way, did u tell Yeak which colour rubbish chute u wan? The sides no gap, as there are those plastic flaps (that silver coloured lining on the right) that cover the side to the wall. Think they are sealed to the wall as well. Think still ok lar. It's suppose to be 8ft. But yesterday when we measured it, it's slightly less than that. Yeak said that it's cuz the side still have not go up yet. But I still find it smaller than expected leh. Should have stick to 8.5ft. Then after minus the boards inside, it'll be 8ft of space. Yupz, quite alot of carpentry. But we saved abit cuz we din do much flooring. My reno after revising is $36k. After adding those little stuff like wire baskets, door knobs/locks, lights, curtains (I still have not done it!! ).....
