Like wat mace wrote, hack & retile whole house is pretty x. Think that will be the most x part of the whole reno. Hehe, but it'll be good to do all once and for all, and not have to worry about them in the future. Hope tat Yeak will give u a gd quote!

Did ur seller drag cuz his new house still not done yet, or he just wana drag? I've heard of pple who already have their new place done up, but just don't wana let go of the house sooner.

Agreed. kthc, when u go for ur 1st appt, ask for a specific date for ur 2nd appt. If not, most of them tend to stretch it to the max 8wks. Another good thing about requesting for the date you want is that u'll be able to take leave sooner, instead of waiting for the letter from HDB to come (whh normally comes pretty near the 2nd appt date). I have a fren who requested for a date, and her 2nd appt is just 4wks after her 1st appt.

Congrates on confirming with Yeak! I'm sure Yeak will be able to help you with the downlights planning. Can always run through ur electrical points with him and also double check with the lights shop when you go and buy ur lights. Just bring your floor plan along and they will be able to assist.

Hehe, ur baby guppies are really tiny! Should be interesting to see them grow and start to have colours. When do u need to get ur TV? I think there should be another IT show coming up liao bah. Normally like end May/June like that. The deals will sure be better then.

I did quite alot of carpentry, redid whole kitchen and MBR toilet, hack & relay foyer & balcony floor, overlay common toilet floor, marble polishing, painting and whole house rewire. Total round up $36k. How's the talk and quotation with Yeak? Do u intend to overhaul or just some parts of the house?

I'm sure Ah Soon will be able to do the tiling fast fast for u. Ur red/white kitchen looks good though. And I like ur common toilet. Very spa feel.

Duno what my hb will be doing leh. He now everyday go back and see if any of the fishes got the "bloating syndrome", and will quarantine them. But most of the time, the quarantined fish will die. U think we should change most of the water?

Yoz, my MBR can put bathtub, but I didn't put. Didn't wana waste $ on water bills, and didn't wana clean the tub after every bath. But the previous owner did have one. So thought to post the pics to show u. Left and Right side of the MBR toilet (taken from the entrance of the toilet) Hope it helps.
