If shelf is too high to reach, how about a suspended cabinet? Ikea has those suspended cabinets that you can fix just under the aircon trunking. Think should be quite cheap, and will be able to hide the trunking bah. Haha, how come don't paint some walls a different colour? Sort of like a feature wall?

I used All Best, IMM. Brand - Mitsubishi. Their prices seem to be slightly cheaper compared to others. Look for Mr. Teo (if I rem correctly. He's the only old gentleman there). They have their own installers, and they did a good job with mine. By the way, I was looking through the items u bought. No storage heater?

Have u tried Maybank? Their interest rate also pretty competitive, and they can separate the cheques into separate payments. Not too sure if they can put different names on the cheques though.
