  1. Spam spam! Hack hack! Haha, u really start ur blog in the middle of the nite sia! Heng we got precious to hack ur blog! Hahahah! If not ur evil plan to prevent us from hacking while u doing up ur blog would have succeeded! U very mao dun leh! Say pastel colours at first, then wana have those gold stuff! Btw, I like the patrick hanging from the light in ur current place! hehehe, so cute!
  2. Mine is a rect balcony. Below are my own preferences: Likes - Living room and kitchen seems to be slightly bigger - Only need to close one door to keep cooking smell in kitchen, instead of 2 (to living rm and to balcony) - Feels more like a balcony as next to the living rm, and not btw kitchen & living room. If next to kitchen, some may use it as a service balcony - Rubbish chute is in kitchen instead of in balcony. So for those who intends to use sq balcony as only balcony, will see the chute. Not very nice for owner to throw rubbish if guests are enjoying the balcony. Dislikes - No service balcony. WM eats into kitchen area - Think sq balconies can try to bbq (for those w/out roofs). Nvr see pple with rect balconies do it b4. So far, no regrets. But I didn't search for an EM with rect balcony intentionally. We just wanted an EM and would consider both sq or rect balconies. But we prefer rect balconies so far. Also, I think Jurong seems to be mostly rect balconies. haha
  3. Yah, think should be ok liao bah. So far only heard that he's booked up till like mid or late July only. *cross fingers for u, hope Yeak's quote is gd and is able to take ur reno project!*
  4. Think Hoe Kee is slightly more x compared to others. I went to Poh Joo for my toilet stuff. Heard from forumners that Royal Franco is pretty gd.
  5. Yoz! Most welcome. Haha, it's up to u. But maybe if u said that u were recommended by us, he'll give more discounts? Or at least give u a good price, as he'll know that all of us compare prices, etc. No harm asking, he may be able to squeeze u in. When do u intend to start ur reno?

    Nice view u've got there.
  7. Haha, if possible, how about a sliding door? Saves space, easy to use.
  8. Lightings try - Extreme Lighting (371 Balestier Road S(329788), Telephone: 6358 3113). Look for George. Cheap downlights, but limited selection of "wow" lights.
  9. Wao, the quotes are alot. Will u be doing an overhaul?
  10. Wah... Ur kids toilet is nice de loh! Rather like a service apartment kind. And got the light at the top of the mirror some more! Very nice place u've got there.
  11. Haha, true true. Mine so far was fine. Think ur guests will be careful with ur new stuff bah. I have a friend who suggested that I past a poster on how to use the PD door for guests during Housewarming. Hehehe, maybe u can consider that and write "Be Gentle with It!" on the poster.

  20. Think urs is V1 series. Precious and gaku's S100. Hehe, I also got S100 (black & silver) for my MBR. I think Joven also quite good. I used that previously. The water very hot.
  21. Must bargain for more stuff! Like the anti-slam tracks, cheaper carpentry, cheaper electrical wiring, etc. Comes to think of it, he like didn't give me many freebies too. Hahaha, cuz I can't think of what freebies I have. Just that his quote was very reasonable, compared to others.
  22. Yoz, I using PD door at my wash area. It is abit troublesome to educate guests on how to use. But so far, there's no pblm with the door. My frens all say that the door is cute, and no probs after telling them how to use the first time. Very good to use, and it's not as noisy as bi-fold doors wen I open/close it. And yes, PD door really saves some space. I wanted to use bi-fold at first, bt we'll have to install the tracks inside the kerb of the wash area. With PD door, Yeak installed it at the outside ledge. This gives me abit more space in the wash area. And since the door can swing 90 or 180degs, it really makes it easier for me to get things from inside.
  23. Ooo! Spam chop and congrates on ur new place! Hehe, it's never too early to book a popular contractor. At least he'll keep some time for ur reno!

  25. Yupz, totally agree. With him, I didn't need to worry abt my reno.
