Ambience u know kopi? Hehehe, dun need to see too well in warm lights, since u most prob won't need to read/write in ambience areas. I have warm lights at my balcony, MBR, staircase, foyer and dining pendant light. Hehe, these areas dun need to see too clearly one lar. The rest all white lights.

Congrates on ur new home and on the start of ur reno! Hehe, that is a rather rush time frame for ur contractor. Off white or white kitchen cabinets should be fine. There are many forumners who have this colour range. My top cabinets are off white as well. So far so good.

Hehe, think gota see the area and the function of each room. White light will be good for areas where work/studying will be done. And warm light for ambience. So a house can have different combi of white and warm lights.

Icic. Well, slim hoods also good, can store stuff in the cabinets on top of the hood. Wao, that's alot of granite & walls hacked to be carted away.

I have birds visiting mi every single dae. And I think they're better than alarm clocks, cuz they'll "report" to my roof every single dae at 7.30am.... Haha, better dun let them build a nest woh~ If not u'll have baby birds chirping non-stop. I'll just shoo them off, close the windows and go back to sleep. Sometimes use little rolled up strips of tissue to throw at them to shoo them away.

Hee, yupz. Think it's good to install the stuff nearer to the end of the reno. That way, the workers are not able to use ur new stuff. That time they installed mine around the middle of the reno. Then the workers use my brand new wc and got some stains that I had to clean off.

Renovation should be sth exciting & happy. The fault lies with ur bad ID. But at least it's a learning experience, and u'll know wat to ask for/expect/bargain for when you engage a contractor to do the rest of the stuff. U mean ur 5rm or ur future EM? My EM can hang bamboo poles outside, but the poles are rather short, since the length of the space inside is rather short.
