  1. Hee... Very exciting. Now can save/bookmark lots of recipes to try once u've settle down. Okays, I go off liaoz. Byez!
  2. Must have confidence in urself~ Cooking is magic. The taste will somehow reflect ur mood. So must be confident and happy when u cook/bake. Ur tiramisu can't be that bad. I'm sure it'll be yummy. So yes, I'll eat it for u! *hands rubbing in glee and anticipation* I'll be at tng pgr waiting!
  3. Cool hor? So chio~ Hee okok. tks tks. Not in a hurry at all. I going to try out xmas cookies and different types of breads. So not going to try tiramisu so soon. Btw, dun need to pass me the kahlua also can, just pass me some of the tiramisu tat u made.
  4. Hehe, so u getting a handheld or pattisier? Check out Kenwood Hand Mixer. It's red in colour woh~ Another fren also recommended kahlua. I'm juz scare that after buying tat, I won't drink the rest. Cuz I dun drink coffee, and kahlua is coffee flavoured liqueur. Maybe go find those mini bottles.
  5. I tot of buying a handheld mixer to try first too! And cuz it's much smaller and saves space. But have u tried holding on to a handheld mixer for long? It's rather heavy and tiring leh! But actually my main reason is that I'm too tempted by the pretty red colour of the mixer. There's a kenwood red handheld mixer that I was eyeing too, but it's very heavy. Think can't hold it for long to mix the stuff. My advise? Get pattisier. hahahahahahaa~ Cuz I was in ur exact same shoes, and I bought pattisier. Hehe, my house dun have instant nescafe coffee also. And no brandy also. I love baileys, but can nvr finish 1 whole bottle b4 the expiry date, cuz I'm the only one in the house who drinks baileys. The only liqueur I have at home is choya. So still tinking if should splurge on a bottle anot loh. Wondering if should get baileys or Kahlua. Still resisting the temptation to buy, cuz still got lots of stuff to try and bake. Maybe will go ahead with it wen I have the tiramisu urge bah. Now still can resist. *signs~ baking is an expensive hobby~* Thanks for the advise thou! Wat liqueur do u use by the way?
  6. yah loh. I heard that they are going to roll out a new line, and most places dun have stock of pattisier liao. Love that machine. I tried using the dough hook to knead my bread dough, and it was sooo easy. heheheheheh Cheap cheap good good. I've been wanting to try tiramisu too! But dun have lots of ingredients. No coffee, no liqueurs. Very troublesome to buy them just to make a tiramisu. But I LOVE tiramisu.... So yummy
  7. Hehe, milk, cheese, soup stock, herbs and watever ingredients u want. Hmm, maybe it's just that can of sauce tat was yucky. Try again and experiment bah.
  8. Hahahaha~ Looks ugly nvm, taste good is more impt. Hee, hope u can use it bah. It's reali useful to keep recipes and other stuff. Hehehe, i've been promoting it to all my frens after learning about it. Can't stop raving about it.
  9. Oh, u were talking about using the canned sauce? Hehe, I was talking about making cream sauce from scratch. Normally pple add cream, but I find it too fattening, so use milk and add abit of cheese to thicken the sauce. Have u tried prego's canned cream sauce? They are rather tasty, and dun need to add anything else (except pasta and any fresh ingredients u want of cuz ) But hor, I tink most of the canned/glass jar sauces dun need to add milk/water leh. At least those tat I've used dun need to lar.
  10. Har? So sad arh? Haiz... Guess many pple went to buy so going out of stock liao. Hmm, I'm not too sure about that blender leh. Didn't read much about it, cuz I intend to sell it from the start. Hee, show pic of ur buffalo mixer after getting it! It looks very cool. Wah seh, doggie cookies for ur doggies and no cookies for ur hb? Wait ur hb jealous. Microsoft OneNote is something like Microsoft Words like tat. It operates exactly like a paper notebook, where u can have different sections for different items. I'm not too sure if MS OneNote will have an icon at Firefox anot, but u can try. It seems rather complicated at first, as there's lots of things tat u can do with it. But after awhile u'll get the hang of it. It's really a very cool notebook. Check these out: About MS OneNote Microsoft Download Another place to DL

  19. Haha faintz~ My hb wana use but too lazy to clear the debris, so won't use. I'll only use it occasionally to steam milk. It'll become a white elephant man. Tink the nespresso is great in this case. Small and cute, and the capsule seems easy to clear.
  20. *jaw drop* Expensive sia~ Hehe, but that milk foamer tingy is good, can steam milk to make tea lattes. (paiseh, mi tea drinker, so only know how to use tat steamer tingy)
  21. Hehe UOB got lots of discounts at shops too. Like for G2000, FOX, etc. hehe..
  22. *Nod nod* agree agree. Don't see much of HSBC's promos leh, not like UOB/SC cards woh.
  23. $8k coffee machine?! Wah~ Made of gold sia? Think ur pantry auntie must be cursing and swearing every morning. So expensive still so ma fan.
  24. Hehehe, I actually love those cooking programmes leh! Very interesting to watch. Hee, and they are good for inspiration on wat to cook too. Yah man. HK very cooling. When we came back to sg, we felt so hot. Aiyah~ It's a dream leh. And in the dream there's no such thing as steam fogging out the tv. Don't spoil our dream ok? Charemme, ignore kopi~ Let's continue soaking and enjoy the wine/fruits while we watch dramas.
  25. Hahahaha, good luck! Worst come to worse, u can copy the pic and paint it. Then draw little lines to bluff others that it's a jigsaw puzzle.
