Oh! Would that mean that your wash room has only the tap for washing laundry? Just curious, how come dun put ur washing machine inside then? I saw some EM owners do that when I went for viewing last time.

Hehehe... Hope that they'll get mine right the first time. Haha, we even roughly confirmed our sofa liao. We liked one from Furniture Club. Think our dining table fr Red Apple. My hb loves those dining table with marble top. Happen that we saw tat last time at IMM, so went back again and see again last Sat to confirm that it's wat we wana buy loh. Hehehe... we went to see furniture when we started searching for hse in Apr.. Actually only went to IMM *blush*. But found wat we liked there. So next time will go other places to see if got similar yet cheaper ones loh. Hmm.. this is wat I intend to do when I go search for contractors. I'll be listing down roughly what I wana do for the whole house (eg: hack where, build in cabinets where, remove wat, add this/that), and ask them to quote/advice based on that. This is to make it easier for us to compare quotes when we receive them. If not, one contractor add this in, or omit wat we wan, then it's abit like comparing apples to oranges mah. I tink like wat chronograph said.. sure will have pressure to sign with them. But rem that it's ur hard earned $$! Hehehehehee... dun sign till u r happy with the quote and price.

Oh, and just bot the floor plan. Can't be bothered to wait for the agent to zap a copy liao. Hehehe.. hopefully it'll cme asap!

*Hi-Five!* Hehehe... Looking back at all the delays/gana bluffed/ agents forgetting to call us/ etc.. I must say that I'm also happy with it. This unit is a great one. Wah... one year. U searched for ur unit about as long as Virgo!

But yeah, been reading forum and mags since the start of the year. So when I get the floor plan, will go search for contractors liao. hehehe... Hee... I'm currently waiting for my 1st and 2nd appt, and also waiting to start my reno. haha! So still no tblog to share. Now here to learn from u guys on reno stuff. Wao.. 21k is a good deal, with all ur carpentry, lights etc. Love ur lights esp, the living room crystal one. Very very cool! Haha, actually love almost everything in ur new home. Very nice tofu squares oso. hehe.. So when are u gg to move in?

Wah! Ur service balcony seems very big! It would be good to build some storage, for extra hangers/laundry bags/clothes pegs. Detergent, any other cleaners can also be kept there. Build a tall cupboard to keep ur mop/pails/brooms/ironing board/step ladder/etc. Then everything will be kept nice and tidy and hidden.

I'm tinking of doing sth like urs. But the sink will be where ur stove is, and vice versa. In front of the sink is the washing machine. Then on the other side of it is the rubbish chute and windows. With the addition of the washing machine, really duno if the length of the kitchen is enuff anot. At the end of the L shape is the oven/microwave oven/other electrical stuff. Fridge opp the stove, along the entrance wall. Oh, I tink my kitchen door got shift abit by the seller, it's right at the end of the kitchen, instead of somewhere in the middle like urs. But I abit scare that there may be not enuf space to walk btw the sink (ur stove) and the Lvl 1 toilet. Is urs cramp? Can't really see fr ur pics, so was wondering how is the distance btw ur Lvl 1 toilet and ur stove. Oh well, can only confirm once we can measure the place. Hope to get my layout soon.
