The cabinet colours/tempered glass/solid top sounds very nice. But not too sure if it'll match the pink colour HDB tiles. Have to put the laminate colours with the tiles to see if it's nice. How's the reno work for the kitchen so far? Haven start or completed? hehehe.. If u r using an ID, can ask him/her to do a 3D for u to visualize.

Yah.. So envy those with svc balcony.. No need to headache where to put washing machine, etc. My future house no svc balcony..

Harlow! I'm in the exact same situation as u! Did ur hb get any grants when his name was added into current house(be it resale or new flat)? If no, then he'll still be applicable for first-timer grants with u. But yes, u need to find $$ to pay back to ur hb's cpf. My hb used abt $80k from his cpf already, so not possible. So... we getting a new place under our name, PILs gota stay wif us, cuz they no $$. At least it's our house, we get to set the rules. I wanted to stay separately as well, bt since it's not possible, then consider getting a bigger place so that there'll be more space (btw u all and for future kids ) Best is to make a trip to HDB and ask the staff there. At least u'll know ur options.

Haha, well wat u sae is true. But I'm doing some walk-ins as well, so most prob will be meeting some a few times. Was actually tinking of just sending my floor plan and list of things to do via email to the contractors. With the estimated quotation, will be able to know who's quote is way over the others and can just remove them from the list. Then after, the shortlisted ones to meet at the new place. Now wondering when's a good time to bring them to new place loh. Before 2nd appt, or after. Hehehe.. see how bah
