Think property tax amt still ok, just that have not shifted in gota pay tax for it liao. haha.. Pocket getting lighter & lighter. Yah loh, wonder how the rebate will work, since I have to pay my tax by earli Feb. Wah.... Ur's will be almost complete overhaul then. Good to keep windows & grills, expensive leh.

Haha, yah, even sg also surprisingly cold for the last couple of weeks. But think the warmer temps are coming soon liao. So enjoy the coolness while it lasts. On a separate note, I think my preference for hot hot bath water made my instant water heater fuse spoil afew times liao! I always turn it to the hottest, until the heat dial can't turn anymore. Not sure if it's true or if my hb's just teasing me. My heater is just about 5yrs old, but the fuse burnt afew times liao. The last time the fuse gave out on me was when the heat dial was at the hottest as well. *imagine halfway and the water turned cold suddenli..* Each time, my FIL gota change the fuse in the socket. The exact same water heater used by my PILs, so far no such problem. So if this is true.. Don't over-heat ur water heaters like me k?

Hee.. We also thought of taking the extra $10k grant, cuz in-laws staying wif mi. But decided against it, cuz dun wana tie them down. Anyway the extra monthly installment is a couple of bucks more only. Hee.. Totally understand how u feel. Hehee.. Wait till u get ur property tax letter. That one even more painful. Decide on what you want to keep, and inspect those carefully. For example windows and doors, check that they open and close easily and not falling off liao. Check that the ceiling don't have wet patches. Those that you don't intend to keep, don't need to care about them. After all, they'll be hacked/removed. Very nice bed. Looks very shiok. Should look good with ur mysterious purple.

They will only let you know a couple of weeks before. What I did during my 1st appt was request for a specific date, and the HDB officer wrote it down. So we know our 2nd appt date on the day of our 1st appt.

Hehehehe.. Then I confirm the same species as ur wife liao. Cuz already set my heart on a couple of decals liao. Can't wait for my reno to start then can start buying the decals. When u were saying that the clock's motor starts to turn the date, what kind of sound izit? Really very loud? My hb is thinking of getting this clock leh.

Haha, Bought Another Item for Home Hee... We bought a Joven instant heater for our current place, as it gave out on us. Just a day before the worker is suppose to come to install the heater for us, my FIL found out the cause and fixed the heater! *pat on the back for my FIL* So we're going to install this newly bought heater in our common toilet. Yay... saved money.

Hee.. Now's the time to go walk walk, explore and search for the items that you like. Kong Tai in Jurong West is relatively cheap. Then there's the IT shows held every quarter. There's usually lots of goodies there. For furnishing, explore IMM, sungei kadut, and other places to find out what are the type of furnishing that you guys prefer. Sometimes neighbourhood shops have good deals as well. Oh, and go IKEA!!! Hehehe... My hb and I walked lots and lots of times to search for the items we like. Think u guys don't need to buy stuff so soon. Cuz ur 2nd appt should be like in April bah? By that time, sure have lots of different sales etc liao.
