He's a skinny guy with specs. Reali know his stuff. Go back and see both items and see whh one u prefer loh. One thing to note is that Hobz uses batteries not electricity to spark the gas. So occasionally gota change the batts. But they sae got sme advantages, can't rem wat though. hehehe.. Aniway, u don't need to confirm your stuff so soon. So go back a few times to take a look and imagine using them. After all, u'll b using it for quite afew yrs woh. Dumb dumb seller. Hate people like that. He asked ur to sign letter liao, can charge him rent anot? Next time if he requests for anything else, don't be too nice. Either say no or sae must charge.

Bo leh. Not the whole house. But maybe got quite alot of carpentry to remove, as well as the toilet doors all change. The tiles that were hacked were only foyer & balcony floor, kitchen wall & floor, MBR wall & floor.

Same here. I sms-ed to thank the other contractor for his time & effort, and that we've decided not to use his service. It's hard to even write this sms though, since that contractor was very nice.

I think shd be able to tune it yourself bah. It should be inside the TV manual. We're just afraid that we duno how to tune it, etc. Then our contractor suggested that loh. Ooo! How long did u have to wait to get ur free gifts?

Some old kitchens only do 1/2 wall tiles. Or if you don't want to do tiles, can consider doing what pinkpetter did with her kitchen. She didn't have top cabinets, and painted the walls. To protect the walls, she had a s/s backing. Very nice, and save alot on the tiles.

Same loh. I'll have to take the tvs end Feb. So will be getting the contractor to install in March. Rem to get the delivery guys to tune the channels for u when they deliver. Good to deliver earlier also, cuz a couple of forumners said that it was like 1-3mths b4 they could get the free gifts. PM-ed u the price le. Not very nice to state the amt here, cuz different quotes different amts.

End of Day 2 Pics Debris from my flat! Tiles have arrived! My contractor told me that they'll start waterproofing and tiling today Very fast sia! Confirming the tiles and layout with the contractor. That's my kitchen tiles and tiles samples. Mountain of sand in the foyer. There's another huge one in the kitchen! So x arh? Faint... Duno if should still buy anot. It's for my PILs and when the relatives come. See how bah, see if it's cheap at the IT show anot. Haha, my current place is quite near my new home mah. 1/2hour walk or 10mins bus ride or 5mins drive. So can go everyday loh. It's very exciting to see the progress of the workers. Last evening I was like a little girl in a candy shop. But I most likely won't be going today. Tomorrow will be taking 1/2 day leave to check on the progress & buy the workers teabreak.

I thought so too! But after comparing with others, it seems like the last day is much better than the 1st few daes leh. One of the forumners told me that most probs the pple dun wana carry all the leftover items back, so sell them as cheap as possible or throw in more freebies loh. So mrspiglet, I'll see u there during the last dae bah!
