Hehe, actually the print is not obvious one. Gota see from an angle then can see. Hehehe.. At one glance, it looks like plain white tiles. We chose this so that the prints won't take away much attention from our mosaic tiles. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope that everyone will have a sweet sweet day with your loved ones!

Haiz.. That's the problem with engaging a FS Master. There's bound to be stuff that clash with things that we wana do.

Hee... Hopefully they'll keep up that speed! Nope, MBR toilet everything hack away first. Hehehe.. Okok, so it's before filling. So scare that it's after filling. Thanks for the reminder, I'll let my contractor know bah. Hehe yah loh! Looks so much nicer now hor? Hehehe.. Can't wait for the completed toilet. Check out the white tiles sample below. The white tiles actually have some flower designs imprinted on it. Love it very much. hehehhe...

Common toilet floor overlay done MBR wall tiles mostly done. Another view of MBR wall tiles If you take a look at the close up of my kitchen wall tiles, you'll see that the gaps seem rather large. Are the gaps suppose to be like this, or are they suppose to fill up the gaps with something? Got to fill them up right? Now we're left with MBR mosaic and floor and also the foyer tiles

End of Day 3 & 4 Pics Kitchen wall tiles about 3/4 done Worker cutting the balcony skirting tiles and the completed balcony tiles (except for skirting) Worker cementing MBR wall I must say that the progress is really very fast! Think by the weekend or next Tuesday, all tiles should have completed. We'll be meeting our contractor this weekend to discuss on the rewiring. So I guess next week they should be starting on this bah. Yesterday did not go back mah, that's why no pictures loh. This afternoon I went back, and bought some tea break stuff for them. It's amazing to see the progress! So exciting! Hee... Yah loh. Oh well, lesson learnt. We'll remember these during the next IT show. Hehehehe

Yah.. Totally weird guy. Just don't care and make him shift out before Monday. Get all keys in front of the HDB officer from ur seller, and don't return them to him after completion. Then immediate go ur new home and use your new lock to lock the gate up! Hee.... Don't . There r bound to be little delays here and there. U see mine, delayed for 1mth then start work. But now, I super happy and excited about it. It's better to delay abit and select a good & cheap contractor, then fast fast select and regret later. Moreover ur AD coming soon. Better to get a good one, and have lesser worries right?

Haha! I replied to one of ur testing posts then saw this one. Congrates on ur new home! Looking forward to more pics. But then, ur pics very small leh. Rather hard to see.

Anyone Hold Customary Dinner At Peony Jade At Clarke Quay
Angel81 replied to babymaro2003's topic in Wedding & Travel
Erh.. Actually there isn't any pillars or partitions in Peony Jade Clarke Quay. If you are talking about the cloth partition, it can be pulled back. Like what rolexboy said, it's in L-shape, and u can see the stage from all the tables. I had my wedding there in 2006. I had about 22 tables. Till now, my relatives are still saying that it's one of the best one they went to in terms of food. Portions are large, and the food is v good. Many a times during other cousin's weddings, some would come to mi & hb, and quietly tell us that our's better. Service wise was fine, as I didn't get any complains. It is a very cozy place to hold a wedding, compared to huge ballrooms in hotels, where sometimes food is compromised. There's a lift inside the restaurant. Very considerate, esp if u have elderly relatives. rolexboy, just a note. If you take 15 tables only, there may be a possibility that Pauline (the restaurant owner/mgr) may open the rest of the restaurant to walk-in customers. And it's not very nice. I heard of stories where pple celebrating bdae during weddings. Can u imagine strangers singing hapi bdae songs during ur wedding? -

Hehehe.. Ur kitchen is nice de loh. Would wana do this if I don't cook much. But scare of the oil stains and that the paint will peel after lots of heat. So bobian, gota do tiles. Easy maintenance for lazy me. -
Yah! While driving home, we suddenli remembered about the trolley. That we could have asked for it, since we bot 2 tvs. Then when we're shifting house we can use as well. But totally forgot about it. We forgot about the lucky draws as well.

Yah, it was a rather huge discount. But we needed to get an oven, so took another package loh. Quite good lar the price. Hee... Yah, think it's the same gal. She was quite ok when she tok to us abt the hob/hood leh. But must still say that Mr Seah is much better. It's relatively easy to change the batteries, so can consider. Yah! Say no! Don't give him a spare key. I would think it's better if u give him extra 2 days to shift his stuff out, and that's it. Congrates on finally getting ur 2nd appt date! Next Monday woh. Excited?
