Seems like lots of pple use Mysterious for MBR. Very nice colour hor? We were thinking of Harmonious Purple at first, but we're afraid that it'll be too dark. So decided to go with Mysterious. Yay... we'll have the same sexy bedroom! Haha! If excluding white, I'll only have 2 colours. Lily white is such a light cream, that I'll consider it white too. I wanted to paint the corridor upstairs a light light blue to promote calmness and induce sleep. But outvoted. Maybe just put a blue painting there bah.

Hee.. Here are my colours (not alot though ), all from ICI Dulux: Mustard - A warm yellow for my living room feature wall Mysterious - Romantic purple for MBR (all walls) Lily White - Cream colour for my IL's room and for Bedroom 3 (temp KTV room, future BB room) Frosted Dawn - Bright white to enlarge the space for the rest of the walls All the doors and exterior will be painted white as well. I wanted lots more colours, but was out-voted. Guess I'll inject more colours with paintings/artwork/etc.

No idea.. hehe) , but the exact same layout as what's mine now. That little extra area makes a huge difference!

Harlow! I bought HOBZ brand, from Poh Joo (Lavender Branch). Hood, hob & oven about $1.3k. But hor, I think I didn't get the cheapest deal. I heard from Rondy that his total package about $800plus only, Cuzino some more. Maybe u wana check with him? Hee... Still cannot leh. The contractors still have 2 big things to do - polishing of the marble & carpentry. Any idea how long does it take to polish the marble. Afew days or 1wk or more?

Hee.. Just hope that we chose the right colours for our house. I'm looking forward to the new colours and lights.

Ohh icic. Any of ur relatives interested in ur table? Can always give to them. Or you can sell it at the garage sale section. But u r rite to say that all the items look very new! It will be a terrible waste to throw them away. Moreover, I actually feel that they fit into ur natural theme. Natural theme should include wood items woh.

It's nice de loh. Hehehe.. I'd hope for an open concept kitchen with an island or bar counter, where my hb can use laptop while I bake. But too bad... Haha! If u dun try, u confirm won't get it. If u try, at least there's a possibility. So, good luck in getting it FOC!

My pipes also have rockstone paint! Haiz.. Wanted to sand them away or at least plaster them. But contractor said that it's a waste of money for plastering, and may spoil the pipes if he's to sand it. Advised us not to do it. Hope that it'll look ok after painting bah.

Really hope that it'll go as schedule man! The last 2 times we went back (last Friday & Sunday), there was nothing new to gawk at. Rather sad... The new coats of paint will transform the place, and with the lights... I'm REALLY looking forward to that!

I was talking to my contractor in the afternoon, and these are the items that are in lined for this week: - Painting. Should be completed around Thursday - Lights delivery - Wednesday noon - Fixing of lights. Hopefully on Friday, after painting - Installing the air con compressor & units. My contractor asked to get it done around Fri or early next week. Confirm confirm!

Hee.. I wana get a slightly bigger one to wash bedsheets, etc mah. We were thinking btw the 8kg or 9kg one. In the end I said to get the bigger one loh. When the kids come in future, there'll be like 6pax in my house (my ILs, hb & I, and hopefully 2 kids in future). Moreover, the 9kg one comes in pink colour for the edges. We were quoted $560 for the 9kg one. Think still can bargain, as we intend to get a couple of other small stuff from them as well. The matt unit number looks great! Think it'll be very special if u can get that. Hope so bah! There's still the whole 1st floor, kitchen, staircase.... Arhhh.. Scary to imagine all the housework *shudders*

Har? U were saying ur dining table is rectangle in shape, but u also said searching for a nice table? Would it be that u still have not gotten a table? If that's the case, get a round one to suit ur lovely light loh. Hehheeh... Or if it's cuz of ur layout, must get a rectangle one, maybe can consider getting a slightly squarish one, then confirm will match.

Most welcome. Hope u get loads of good deals! Hee... I really can't rem where the ballast is from (running around looking at the lights when my hb was talking to George abt the ballast/bulbs ). But I know that we didn't get the osram bulbs, as we'll need to top up $2 for that. Budget budget budget.. Just hope that we made the right choice by not topping up bah. He kept telling us that there's no need to & that his own house uses the normal energy saving bulbs. Roamca, I'll be waiting excitedly too! Can't wait to see ur lovely common toilet & kitchen with the refreshing lime colour! Thanks pinkpetter for the good tip! I'll go and hound them everyday during the week before my delivery date.

Yupz, bought all my lights, including the downlights, at Extreme. 1 less item on the to-do list! Hee.. No probs one lar, can give them a call a couple of days before the delivery to inform them the size. We went to MGL liao, seems rather x for the stuff we wana do leh. Thinking of where else to go to loh. Tink may be visiting Jimmy bah. I'm thinking of giving a call to this lady name Cindy (got her name & contact in the forum), cuz afew of them say her curtains rates r quite gd. Any idea how long curtains-making will take?

Hee... We going for the whole room leh. I was afraid that it'll be abit too dark too, but hb said that it should be fine. After all, 1.5 wall will be covered with cabinets/wardrobe, 1 large portion of wall will be the windows. So it's mainly the wall behind the bed that's exposed. Hope that hb is right. Aniway, dark=intimate=romantic

Oh my! Ur place is really looking very good! I like the feel of ur place, very cozy. What is the paint colour for ur MBR? Is it Mysterious, ICI Dulux? If yes, then we have the same colour for MBR. And I'll be very happy, cuz urs look real good!
