Reno Day 30 (10 Mar 09) I was counting the days on my calendar, and realized that time really flies! It's been a month since we've started renovating! We met up with our contractor yesterday to finalize some stuff, and to see the carpentry works. I was expecting loads of carpentry crowding my foyer and dining room, since they were suppose to come in today. But to my surprise, these were what we saw! Foyer & Balcony Kitchen! Wash Area PD door & Common Toilet Bi-fold door In-law's wardrobe & Common Toilet vanity & shower screen MBR wardrobe & chest of drawers MBR Toilet with it's frosted glass door, vanity & shower screen We bought new door lock and knobs & asked our contractor to change for us Deciding the height to hang our tv All in all... It's been really fast! They will be measuring my solid tops today, and also the doors for my cupboards.

Hee... Quite true. Since ur bathing timings are different, then it makes sense to have only one. Save $ as well. We were tinking of having instant heater in all 3 toilets, bt decided against it to save $ as well. The toilet dwnstairs also v tiny, so no point to have a heater there.

Hee.. Nope, think toilet with white light is ok. Good for ur wife to do make up. Mine also white light. And I'm abit kiasu, even did a light above the mirror for makeup, cuz I dun like to have shadows when I'm doing my makeup. Actually if u wan warm light in ur toilet, just do another light for makeup loh.

Thanks! Total 4 colours (purple, yellow, cream & white), excluding ceiling, door and external wall paint (which are all white). Yupz, I think the aircon trunking is well run. The only obvious one is in my MBR. But it's at the top of the door, so not very noticeable as well. Haha! So far that's the series that's made of s/s. So would prefer to get that. Hopefully won't rust bah. Which toiletries holder u talking about? My glass shelves? Hee.. Yah, didn't get the Gruntal series, cuz don't find it nice. The metal hinges are too obvious. Haha, I tink Yeak must be feeling stress now! He's left with 7 days (excluding wkends) to handover my house. And he needs to rush roamca's house by 25th! Hee... Ur shifting part still not so near. Ooo! ur green common toilet is cute! With the mosaic, it'll be very cool! Which laminates did u choose for which area? They all look very nice! I think lamitak is one of those good ones. I rem a forumner advised mi to choose fr lamitak instead, as the gloss ones are really good.

Yah loh. Moreover, we'll sure need to go back cuz there'll be stuff that we forget, etc. So after shifting, we'll prob make a list and go IKEA to get everything else in one shot. Hee.. Yupz. And I think white doors contrast with the rooms' colours really well. My carpentry will arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to finish work tml and rush home to see all the carpentry!
