The pricing should be around there as the board used in bathroom is different as it should be waterproofing

No crack and also the existing wall tiles is not hallow inside or else in future your new overlay tiles will crack too.

Old tiles might not be available anymore unless you are ready to search all tile supplier. Maybe posting a photo might alert fellow forum members to help you
