I bought Deliza Hob (DZG 830) about close to a year ago and only started using it for cooking last weekend. used two burners at one time, and the knobs became super hot that I couldn't even use my hand to turn the knob. had to use a cloth to turn it. When I refer to super hot, it is really burning hot.
Is there anyone out there having the same problem as me? I called mayer and they said its like that cos the heat from the fire will heat up the knob. but after much thoughts, is that really possible? you mean the person who designed it did not take this into consideration?
I am wondering if my contractor did not do a good job when they install my hood and hob.
Anyone has any advice out there?
To add to my fears, i have had two friends whose hobs (also from Deliza) actually cracked during cooking...
