  7. Hi, I got the solid teak base for my current dining table from Pasardina, in Dempsey. costs about $2000 I think. Then got the tempered glass from a supplier at $300. If it wasn't just a year old I would have changed and gotthe one from air!
  8. think it was about $3k but didn't really pay attention coz we already had a custom made one from our current house that we're going to bring with us.
  9. love your vision! btw, saw a similar dining table at air and they're having a sale now!

  12. Lady r, no drawers I think, it's one solid piece. Thought it was a good deal for $200!
  13. Mae the kitchen aid is $629 for card members. Don't know if can use the $50 voucher too. Sleek, saw the add in the expat forum, don't know where it was from originally but they were **** heavy! Two of us couldn't lift the coffee table! The tv console had a bit of scratches so hb will have to re-finish it. Which is ok since he worked as a painter to earn pocket money during uni days anyway !
  14. just saw the robinson's mailer... kitchen aid on sale. should i, should i? should i, should i? should i, should i? should i, should i? should i, should i? should i, should i?
  15. but but but, what about me?????
  16. actually after all the discounts (press hard coz got so much from them at one go) each one was about $450? But solid wood instead of laminate so I guess ok lah
  17. The rest of the stuff are from Air in Wilkie road. Thought of just going for a gander and ended up buying a bed, bedside tables and 2 sofas!!! The second sofa was on 70% off as it was the display set... and luckily for me, it was the exact colour and shape I was looking for! Only thing is I have to take delivery early... so may have to store it for a while! The 70% off is still more than what I would have to pay for transport so quite happy about it! The rest of the stuff were on 30-40% off, so not a bad deal altogether, if their starting prices were so ex!
  18. Our pockets definitely not deep especially with the expensive weekend we had!!! Some of the stuff we've bought: 1. Coffee table and tv console- both solid teak wood, 2nd hand from an expat moving to a new place and decided to change all his furniture even if they were only 1 yr old!!
