what is the inset mount?

Patrick from Ho Bee told us that the groove lines were designed for expansion n contraction but newer flats HDB built doesnt come with the grooves now. not really sure how true. have to ask super new flat owners. guess HDB found a better way to deal with expansion n contraction of the wall.

hee.. how much is considered cheap? u got some example can hint hint? so it is split into 3 payment? wat is the percentage of the payment at each stage? so that means after most of the reno stuff completed, painting flooring, carpentry and electrical works almost complete then pay 2nd payment and upon handover then last payment?

I'm also considering having tracklights to shine on my posters n paintings, but can anyone advise if it will discolor the paintings if expose to such lights for too long? i worry abt the heat emission of such lights..

may I know how much does your ledge cost? will it be easy to maintain? wats that strap of white line material at the edge of the ledge? plastic or tile? i can image some contractors may use small square tiles to cover the round edges. Alot of grout lines are exposed giving more chance getting moldy

can i check with you guys what is the payment mode of Ho bee like after confirmation? will patrick throw in freebies? if he doesnt give alot of discounts?
