my WC is facing the entrance, how i wish it was right inside like yours. same like Chrono, i dislike that so i combined 2 toilets to one. i hacked down the wall partitioning the 2 toilets, concealed the existing entrance and relocated it to the other wall. Your WC's position is good wat! at least u don't have to worry that the WC sits right on top of your stove according to FS.

Hi Mr Chong, A FS master says that it's ok to have stove facing directly at kitchen entrance. if stove have to face kitchen door due to space constraint, the stove have to be positioned directly at entrance and not partially and to keep door close at all time. is that true?

thks , my balcony is NW facing.... i think i will oso be bathed in the heat every afternoon when i move in. but in deep thought, i should be grateful and thankful to have a roof above my head compared to the disasters happened in Myamar & China. they are homeless now........

hi virgo2829, from what time onwards does the sun enter ur house? so did u intend to close up the balcony area or do something like roller shutter to block sun. we don't intend to do anything but a potbelly...just live it open concept until we move in and stay and feel the heat, then decide to do something to it.

err....not very sure oso. i was being quoted for $49783 for very basic reno...i mean the place was quite run down as the flat was 23 yrs old, so need to do up everything. i din change wiring. revarnish parquet flooring & handrail. do retiling for living hall, 3 toilets, wall tiles and floor tiles for kitchen and toilets. kitchen cabinets & MRB wardrobes, hacking of wall changing 2 toilets upstair into 1. change the wash area into toilet. bought over the recess area and hack down the utility room. roofing for the recess area. i was quoted for another $3550 when i decided to change all windows and only 2 bedroom with grilles only. misc reno cost not concluded with ID. just one word - a very simple and basic reno with no featured wall, false ceiling or platform. think it may total up to $60k without furnishing
