I have just moved in to my new place and I feel Alvin( Matrix Concept) deserve a write up here ?
I got to know Alvin 17 years ago when he did the renovation for my old house. (time flies) A lot of the carpentry at my old place was still in good condition despite after so many years. The quality of his work is one of the reason I engage Alvin again.
Of course I had also ask for quotations from other IDs and in the end, I decided to put my trust in Alvin again (which he did not fail of course) even though he is not a fancy big renovation company like some. Unlike some IDs, Alvin will discuss in details with my ideas and offering honest opinions about them and coming out with alternatives or suggestions. He will also tell you if he thinks if the $$ is well spend for some stuffs and the practicability of it. His quotation is definitely very reasonable and has no hidden cost. He is easy to work with, and in the end, he felt more like a friend.
Despite the shortage of manpower in the reno line (most Malaysian are not available), Alvin completed my reno according to the date line as I had to move out from my old place. Some things will always go wrong or some items will not turn out the way you had intended it to be/ or what you had in mind. But Alvin is accommodating in making changes accordingly.
I have had no issues with minor correction stuffs under warranty even after the work is completed and last payment made. (experience from my old place as well). And over the years, I had also asked for Alvin's help in adding stuffs to my old house from time to time and also introduce him to some of my friends as well.
