Hi, checked through some brands, like 'Karcher'/'Electrolux'/'Dyson' for both dry and dry/wet types, with dirt bag and bagless. Got a very vague feeling that wet and dry cleaner seems better more versatile. Can you share with me some of your experience in using vacuum cleaner? My home is 80% Laminate floor and 20% ceramic floor. Thanks

Hi, Plan to install two ventilating fans at the toilets. But the PM told that installation of such thing need HDB approval, is it true? Have any of you ever installed one in your toilets? Actually there are two pieces of windows at each toilet, just want to change one of window frames and install ventilating fan behind the other window. Please Share with Me Your Experience! Thanks!

Hi Guys, It's time to prepare my curtains, have to say it's really a headache! For my living room, my PM designed curtain pelmet for me, then left only option for the curtain, mount to the ceiling. For Master Room, Guest Room, Studying Room, no false ceiling, no pelmet, mount to the wall or ceiling are both feasible. The problem are: Where to buy the Curtain Rod or Track and Curtain? Where is the Cost Efficient place to purchase it? To buy Rod, Track and Curtain separately or within one shop? Can you guys share with me your experience? Thanks

I found that there are two types of storage water heater, 1, box shape, 2. cylinder shape. Some salesmen told me that the cylinder type is better with stainless steel water tank, more durable. and some others told me that the box shape is much cheaper with sort of high-tech water tank. Have you ever used any of those storage water heaters? What's your idea and experience? Thanks

WOW, Finally, the project began! It's the very first day of the project! As the resale flat, it has to be completed within 1 month. Any way, I hope it could finish within 3 weeks. Will keep updating my renovation project accordingly.

Hi, The Electrical Works list from my contractor listed 13amp point/Switch Point. Are those points included electrical wire and the Socket/Switch? Or I have to purchase the Socket/Switch by myself?

Thanks for your advice of DIY the whole house. But it's so challenging for me to do it all by myself! -
The contractor quote us the same unit price for wall tile and floor tile at $2.5/sf. BTW, where are the tile shops?
-
the contractor quote me supply & lay the tile, instead naming the brand, he gave the unit price $2.5/sf. Is it good enough for Kitchen Tile? Is such tile durable?

Hi, my contractors provided me different types of water pipe, Stainless Steel and Copper. Which one is better? I saw most of the Singapore family use copper pipe for both cold and hot water.
