I'm asking how did he solve this as I'm facing the same issue

My new water heater has been sounding off at random times of the day for 2 months. Pub, BSC and TC has came down several times but unable to diagnose the issue. Anyone has any ideas because this is taking a toll on my sleep as its so loud I will be awaken. The sound at behaviour is exactly the same as this guy here
