Ya, when my wife and I did our research on standard invisible grilles, the plastic coating will wear and tear under the sunlight, then rusting will occur, and it's so loose. Our diamond grill has been installed for 3+ years, and it's still as strong, no rusting at all, and no peeling of coating since there's no coating in the first place

After visiting diamond grille and a couple of other invisible grilles companies, my wife and I shortlisted to either aluminum grille or diamond grille for safety reasons. Aluminum grilles are cheaper but very unsightly, so we went with diamond grille instead. It's around 20+% more than expensive than other invisible grilles and aluminum grille, but we are glad we made that decision. I will suggest that you visit both diamond grille and other invisible grille showrooms to see the difference. To my opinion, I can save on other renovation cost by choosing lower grade materials, but I won't sacrifice my child's safety for it, either get diamond grille if you have the budget and wants a good view, or install aluminum grille to save on the cost

OMG, I saw the report of the fire at Toa Payoh which happened two days ago!!! www.mothership.sg/2020/08/toa-payoh-flat-fire/ The fire started at the lower unit, and spread onto the top unit, and both units using invisible grilles! Since the invisible grille wire can caught fire easily, the upper unit's invisible grille could have caught fire from the lower unit and spread the fire!!!

Going to install window grilles on my upcoming HDB, but is concerned about the safety of the invisible grilles. I saw videos on how easily the invisible grilles wire can be cut and burnt. Anyone had any experience to try to burn or cut the wires? I saw the company doing those videos is part of Endo Grilles, thus should be true, right? Since they are also selling invisible grilles? Please advice
