We would like to express our appreciation for the renovation work carried out by our id, Ben.During the past few months renovation, everyone from EI ,especially the tilers and painters have been very helpful and responsible. We had seen the tilers laid the tiles on the floor , they were very skillful and the tiles alignment were good. Painting job was marvellous ,the workers were extremely efficient with minimum supervision, it was hard to imagine that they can repair and paint the wall so well because it was full of cracks and holes.We are particularly impressed with their initiative and committments to the jobs.We know that it is a tedious process and work to renovate a house ,we deeply appreciated the works and effort that they have put in. Eventhough my house was delayed by carpenter in handover ,we were still very thankful for the amazing jobs.

My carpentry works almost 80% installed now , earlier than expected as my id did pushed his carpenters for doing my house. I feel relaxed now as my carpentry work is quite smooth , unlike so worried after reading some negative comments of EI last week . Very appreciate that my id has really put in effort in designing my carpentry and also strongly recommend the carpenter Mr Loo .

my id said that his factory is very tight now and can only deliver my carpentry next two weeks, seems like a bit longer than i expected .I ask him why takes so long , the reason he gave me that not enough manpower. He said he had tried his best to chase his carpenter but the delivery date is still cannot confirmed. Actually i want to complete my reno before jun , a bit worried now ....

Yup, i agree , totally not sure who is right. But based on the prices of construction materials keep going up, developers will also not going to lower down their prices . When i ask pp working in banking & property line , they all still said good . It seems like property mkt is uncertain, i think i need to monitor it for a while.

Hi, my friend just bought a unit near biopolis at buona vista, he said is a good buy now. But looking at mkt inflation and property mkt slow down , some speculators let go and sell their investment properties . My friend told me it is the right time to enter the mkt , if not , will miss out the good deal as mkt will pick up in a short time. Did anybody bought any investment property recently ? Can share any potential investment ? Thanks in adv.

Hi , aft 3 wks of reno, can say that EI tiling wk is good bec. the gap of my wall tiles is very neat. Before laying, i hve specified my id that i want the tiler who has done up the shwflat wh. i viewed at Tampines. So far, the mansory work has not disappointing me yet , now looking forward for ceiling & carpentry wk, hopefully no surprise nel....

Yeh, totally agree with you that cheapest is not always the best. Good service, quality and importantly responsibility are also needed to take into consideration when selecting the id. So far, my renovation still in good progress and updated.

Hi, my id quoted me hacking 2 walls at $500, very cheap. And i tink that if the id did not make a profit in the project , he may not doing a good job.

Hi , my id is Ben from EI and i agree that they are not the pushy sales id . They working more on customer budget . His design input is not so fantasti but practical. Say my kitchen design is casement type rather than push-up type, he told me that the hydraulic door will not last long and need to replace after few years. Can anyone feedback on push up door with hydraulic , any problems ?
