I don't know it is the right place to ask this question or not...but sill looking for some kind suggestion. Hi, I just want to know the opinion ( experience ) of experts about collaborating with other related business..... I am interior designer and already have designed so many projects. Actually one of my friend has Furniture showroom and he asked me to collaborate with him as he is range of modern pieces such as sofas, lounge chairs & dining tables. Now, the question is: 1-Should I collaborate with him? and on what conditions? 2- will it effects my business/ profile if I referrers him to my client?. My question may be out of topic but I think somebody will help me with that. Actually I had a meeting with a client and he wanted to renovate his study room. I showed him all of my designs but he insists for something unique...and give me reference of other designers. The question is can I use the designs that owned by somebody else??? I mean not to copy exact but little bit.
