  1. I just completed my buy and sell through contra/bridging loan, whole process went well, no problem at all. Best is there is no agreement signed between me and my agent. Besides, never push me to pay commission, told me to pay once everything is settled. Interested, pm me for my agent contact.
  2. Not yet, my contractor will only start hacking today. Thanks for SP services system upgrade I only gave them 30 days to do it but after the delay its only left with 26 days. Hopefully they can finished on schedule so i won't have to camp on the street
  3. wah...so hot suddenly, never mind let me sprinkle some water to cool it off. Bros, relax. Finally, completed my selling and buying. Now can concentrate on doing up my house. Yahoo!

  6. Went for tiles selection with my Contractor today, it was very posioning, end up selecting pricer(+$1.5) tile than original quoted. Only need to top up the tile cost......pocket burn one big hole. Welcome, where is your EM? How much if u don't mind?

  9. yap.......very nice but not practical for family, only good for single or couple. Total reno cost about 80k according to owner.
  10. No problem, sure can hack off. I have seen a EM really hack all the walls it can hack during my EM search. I even video the place but cannot show, privacy issue. What the owner did was as follows: 1) Hack down the utility room, joining the kitchen and utility and dinning room together, making it a very big open space. 2) prior to 1), kitchen is open concept with a island. Wash room also hack to make space bigger in kitchen 3) Common and master toilet in level 2 combine together, making a passage walk way, joining the master bed room and the other bed room. WIW is built along the walk way(toilets). 4) the bed room nearest to the void staircase has it wall hack, making way for 2nd living room on level 2. That's what i call a full revamp........only one bed room left for the owner, a single.
  11. My stair is the same as yours, need railing on both sides of the staircase. And the quote of 3.3k is for both sides.
  12. My Contractor quote me 3.3k for glass as compare to your ID 6k.
  13. Most of the stuff will be moving over, only need to buy MBR TV and children bed set. Yap... the higher the better. Like my EM, initially seller asking for 70k COV but because of the high val, COV reduced to 40k.
  14. Bi-fold wooden door nice....$$ also nice Yap.... kind of stress cos i have only one month to reno and move in before i hand over the my 5I to buyer. And of all ID/Contractor that i have spoken to, none can deliver in 4 weeks except the one i;m dealing with. If you are eyeing the EM in Jurong East near to virgo, it should be around the range of 390k to 410k. Thanks thanks....... hopefully everything will be on the right track.
  15. I'm collecting the key on 04/08 but will be renovating on 08/08/08 (dou tu date given by FSM). At the moment, finalizing quotation and selecting tiles and colors. Still contemplating whether to replace the current sliding balcony door with bi-fold wooden glass panel door.
  16. Sound like a very run down EM. Ya, its kind of weird to keep the stair parquet. Your option is pretty clear, overhaul. PM me for the contractor contact..... u won't regret. You might want to view my first cos i do a lot more than Jessie. As for the common toilet, luckily the wc is located at facing the door for my unit.
  17. My contractor, not too bad, feel comfortable dealing with him and his boss. Very nice and sincere people, hard to find now. PM me if u r interested, or u can check with Jessie My advise, if possible keep the stair. Cos stair is the most ex to do in EM.

Hi Angel81, I do the following: 1) overhaul of all 3 toilets 2) overhaul of kitchen 3) Roofing at balcony(plus window and grills) 4) Polishing of marble flooring and varnishing of parquet flooring 5) Carpentry work for MBR 6) TV console for living room 7) Paint whole house Already cost me 35k. If u r talking about overhaul whole EM, 45k is just simple basic stuffs. BTW, my quote from contractor.
  19. My brother has it installed at his living room to act as a partition. So far no problem with the structure but there are some oxidization problem, u can see paint coming off and it about coming to 3 years of usage only. That's what u can from IKEA, cheap but material cannot make it.
